This game was and still is one of my all-time favourites. A great storyline, engaging gameplay and puzzles that made you work for it. In more recent years the only issue I have with it looking back is the localization from Working Design which needlessly increased the amount of hit points for enemies and also took a few too many liberties with the translation. Honestly it would be amazing if GOG were somehow able to bring not just the Western version of this game to the roster, but also the Japanese version if only so that people could possible experience the game as it was originally intended.

I remember playing this game on Playstation 1 . Adventure RPG at its finest. A lot of people call this a zelda clone, but it is not, it is an underrated rpg. I remeber playing i believe it was iside of a ship, and there was a part that there was a lot of platforming. Imagine platforming in an isometric view, it was so frustrating, but I had fun. and I would like to play it agian.

Sony's response to Zelda and going to even darker themes Nintendo would never go with their hero Link. Alundra is a tough puzzle nut and has the first elements of a Souls-like RPG. And the story. Oh dear lord, the story. Only Terranigma and FF VII reached this level of emotional journey dealing with the theme of loss and failing in your quest.

Do you remember that moment growing up, when you discovered the world could be more complex and beautiful than you ever imagined as a kid? Alundra is that moment for me; every pixel, every sound effect, every piece of music and dialog is so perfect to me, it's a very unique mix of atmosphere and elegance. This game helped discover a way to experience the world in ways far deeply than I've ever felt from any book, movie, TV show or any other form of art before or since. Please preserve these memories for me and for all the people out there; help more people experience this masterpiece of a game

This game shaped so much of what I like in games and storys today. Though I never experienced a game like this again, yet. I love how it portraits different kind of people, their flaws and fears. What I like the most: The mechanic to enter peoples nightmares to try and save them from demons and inner conflicts. Those nightmares were thrilling and ugly and confusing and hard to get through sometimes. But even at a young age I noticed the detail that was put in each one. Like using a maze-puzzle part you need to cross as a player, to show the characters feeling of being lost and not finding back. I wasn't scared to look into those characters abysses. I was thrilled to learn about them in such abstract ways and hopefully save them. Not to forget: The beautiful and epic music which also plays a big role to set the tone for this dark adventure.
Just bing it!!!!!!! Its an amazing zelda-like game. Puzzle solving, action packed, great story, great visuals. One of the best in PS1. Too bad this game was forgotten by the community

This is easily my favorite Zelda clone of all time. I played the crap out of this as a kid, and even revisit it from time to time. I played this again recently and it still holds up today. Mainly because it has a slightly darker story then what you might expect from the genre.

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the PatriotsMetal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is the final canonical Metal Gear game to feature Solid Snake as the main character. The gameplay of the previous games have been kept along with some new features, such as the ability to roll on your back and also to hide in bins scattered around the environment. Most of the story and the relationship between the characters are explained through cut-scenes with a considerable length, so knowledge of the prior games is recommended to fully understand the story. The game also features a complex multiplayer mode entitled Metal Gear Online with some original missions based on the stealth aspects of the single-player games.

Snatcher
SnatcherSnatcher is a cyberpunk-themed graphic adventure game directed and written by Hideo Kojima and produced by Konami. The setting and story of Snatcher is heavily influenced by cyberpunk and science-fiction media, taking place in a large futuristic dystopian city. The story revolves around an investigator named Gillian Seed assigned to investigate a breed of bioroids known as "snatchers", who are killing humans and taking their place in society. The game is set in a primarily first person perspective and uses a menu-based interface that allows the protagonist to interact with his environment. The player can choose to "Look", "Investigate", "Talk", "Ask" and "Move" (in addition to other options) to acquire key items or receive vital information from other characters. The player can analyze items in Gillian's belongings or show it to other characters. During key points of the game's story, the player must pass shooting sequences to defend Gillian from assailants. These shooting segments use a 3x3 grid which the player can target to fire at enemies. A shooting trainer, called "Junker's Eyes", is accessible at Junker HQ that allows the player to measure their accuracy.

Tonic Trouble
Tonic TroubleTonic Trouble is a 3D platforming video game by Ubisoft Montreal. The story follows the main character, Ed, after a magic potion spills on the Earth and causes vegetables to become living killers. The game was received poorly; critics cite poor controls, a wordy exposition, and sloppy graphics (on the N64 version). The N64 version of the game is a port of the PC version with noticeable differences, such as a substantially different opening due to the lack of processing power needed to render cutscenes, and different music in certain places. The game is often compared to another game published by Ubisoft called Rayman 2: The Great Escape, because both are 3D platformers, both have main characters of a similar design (hands and feet without arms or legs), and both were released around the same time.

Discworld II: Mortality Bytes!
Discworld II: Mortality Bytes!Discworld II: Mortality Bytes! is the second point-and-click adventure game based on Terry Pratchett's series of fantasy novels set on the mythical Discworld. The game was developed and produced in 1996 by Perfect Entertainment for the PC, and ported in 1997 for the PlayStation and Sega Saturn. It was published by Psygnosis for the PC and PlayStation, and by Sega for the Saturn (only in Europe). In Discworld II the player controls Rincewind the "wizzard" (voiced by Eric Idle, as in the previous game) who has been burdened with the task of coercing Death out of his impromptu retirement and back into his regular duties. The plot borrows from a number of Discworld books, most notably Reaper Man, Moving Pictures and Lords and Ladies. It all begins in a quiet Ankh-Morpork street, where Rincewind and The Librarian inexplicably fail to die from a nearby cart-bomb explosion. The odd event is not shared by them alone however: occurrences of the newly dead re-awakening and disturbing the populace are being reported all over the city, prompting the Archchancellor of Unseen University to halt his usual activities of feasting and merrymaking, and to take charge of the situation. Much to Rincewind's despair, the entirety of this process involves appointing him to the task of finding Death and convincing him to resume his work.
