This was the first Armored core game I owned and I still have the original copy. It was so well balanced as far as Armored Core games go. The difficulty curve is pretty smooth and they options aren't overwhelming for new players. I remember playing this game for a year and S-ranking every single mission.
Gen 3 while not my favorite of the Armored Core games I do appreciate it how it iterated on gen 2 and made things more balanced. Also, getting the Karasawa is easily the hardest it has been in all of the Armored Core games imo which is how it should be. Anyways, would love a way to play this that isn't emulation, and we need to preserve these games for future generations!
One of the best starting point when playing or jumping into Armored Core franchise long before Armored Core 6 released. But unfortunately people always got frustated with its control. Because for some reason, Fromsoftware still use control scheme that they use in King's Field 1 on PS1. Armored Core 3 on PS2 released without adding modern control or fully utilized dual analog. Until they released Armored Core Nexus when they have dual analog support control support. Controller issue aside, 3 have best atmosphere & vibe. From its visual, themes, music & the gameplay. Everything have feel of weight. Its hard to explain but there's something unique about 3 & improved expansion Silent Line that can hook people in. The gameplay are nice balance of mecha simulator & arcadey shooting style kinda like Ace Combat. Its have nice balance of being piloting a mech & not being going too far into goes fast-faced robot like Gundam. And I can see why from all of the Armored Core series from this dreamlist. 3 is the top & number one. They need bring back this one of peak Armored Core series to modern & new audience. With adding new dual analog control scheme like in Armored Core Nexus & bring all the additional contents from 3 Portable & Silent Line Portable. 3 & Silent Line rereleased would be make all AC fans cry of happiness.
This was the first Armored Core game I played, specifically the PSP version. Differences between the PS2 and PSP versions aside, I enjoyed my time with Armored Core's Layered Timeline/Generation and I want to see this be preserved properly or even updated with better graphics and optimization (maybe make the PSP-exclusive parts available again like the CHD-GLITCH head, and make OP-INTENSIFY actually like the OG Gen's/Timeline's Human-PLUS bonuses). Plus, the overall vibe Gen3 had, especially the first game, honestly was the best. Really love tracks like Artificial Sky and On Satelloid while traversing through this massive Layered dystopia in my 12-meter tall mecha.

Amazing game..........Played on PS2 back in the day. Couldn't even imagine seeing this on pc, though I dream for the day that becomes more than just a thought, but a reality.
When I first played Armored Core 3, it was several years after playing 2 and the OG. The story is much more refined, and more of a reboot of the OG, but with the graphics and style of the AC2 games. All in all, the core parts list is great, the gameplay is amazing, and I think more people should play it.

Crimson Skies
Crimson SkiesThe series is set within an alternate history of the 1930s invented by Weisman and McCoy. Within this divergent timeline, the United States has collapsed, and air travel has become the most popular mode of transportation in North America; as a result, air pirates thrive in the world of Crimson Skies. In describing the concept of Crimson Skies, Jordan Weisman stated he wanted to "take the idea of 16th century Caribbean piracy and translate into a 1930s American setting."

Ratchet: Deadlocked
Ratchet: DeadlockedRatchet: Deadlocked is the fourth game in the Ratchet & Clank series by Insomniac Games. Deadlocked is different in its counterparts in that it focuses more on shooting than platforming and puzzle elements. The game allows you to use two bots to fight along side you, which can be upgraded over time with better weapons and firepower. There are 10 total weapons in the game, significantly less than the other games. However, modding these weapons is more emphasized than before, with different kinds of Alpha and Omega mods. Omega mods can be used on any weapon, and range from the freeze mod to the magma mod. Alpha mods are weapon-specific, and increase the rate of fire, ammo capacity, and power. The game also features online multiplayer. Clank is not a playable character in this game, although he gives advice to Ratchet over his communication link.
