Ahh, I remember playing this game as a kid on the PS2. It was one of only a few games we had. Oddly fun, haven't found another game like it since. Most games like this have just disappeared and Steam always acted as if they would never see the light of day again despite it being old... I never saw why games like this faded away when clearly other games had made it to modern day PC (other older games). I assumed it had something to do with Sony. It seems more likely that it might turn up on GOG (I'm hoping as I would still play it as I use to play it a lot- so did my family- however, I sadly no longer have a working PS2 to play it on anymore. I remember having some laughs in this game or watching my family members have turns at each event for fun. I think my favourite was the equestrian test.
Without a shadow of doubt this is the best Olympics game that has ever been released, I spent many hours with the lads just button bashing and beating each others world records, I would definitely purchase this game should it ever become available again

The gameplay of NBA Jam is based on Arch Rivals, another 2-on-2 basketball video game. However, it was the release of NBA Jam that brought mainstream success to the genre.
The game became exceptionally popular, and generated a significant amount of money for arcades after its release, creating revenue of $1 billion in quarters. In early 1994, the Amusement & Music Operators Association reported that NBA Jam had become the highest-earning arcade game of all time.
