I had this and played it a lot, back in the day. Those were the days... I was young, of course, but the world was a more hopeful place, in general. The cold war had ended and my home country had been reunified. Now, all we needed to do was to help the newly joined states in the East to become as economically prosperous as those in the West... how hard could that be?
Well, that was what this economic simulator was all about! So I played and played, creating on my PC the flowering landscapes that our government had promised and people in the real world could only dream of...
It was a fun game, as I recall. A little Civilization, a little SimCity, all in all right up my alley. I remember it being quite hard, though. I don't remember, whether I ever actually beat it or always ruined the country and got booted out. I probably just didn't play well, because I was young and dumb.
It did teach my some geography, though and is probably the no. 1 reason why I, a kid from the Western half, can still find Zittau or Brandenburg faster on a map of Germany than, say, Hannover or Aachen.
