Just my very first Battlefield game. So much memories: summer holidays, Fortunate Son, napalm) Hope to see this cool game on GOG and have new rounds capturing flags and shooting all the way)
The music made this game unforgettable and the nostalgia, I played with my dad who passed away recently, I want this game because I want to remember old days where I used to play it
One of my all time favourite games! Love the Vietnam setting as I love Vietnam war movies and is the best Battlefield game in my opinion. Never played it online but I love just playing with bots, My favourite part is flying the Huey helicopters. I still play it to this day but would love to have it on GOG with full screen support as I can't seem to get that to work on my gaming laptop.
I miss the helicopter flight mechanics this game had. Once learned, it's very easy to pilot them with only WASD and arrow keys. No other games aside from this one, and Battlefield 2, had such user-friendly flight physics and controls. Countless hours in the Huey Gunships strafing enemy armor, or piloting the Chinook and winching up friendly armor to drop behind enemy lines. Choppers were my thing, and no game has come close to replicating the levels of fun that this game had when flying them.
BATTLEFIELD VIETNAM was so much fun as a LAN party game, back in the day! We, uh, played the crap out of it. For a long time. I'd love to play it again but it doesn't seem to be available that I can find. There are download sites out there but I question their legality as they don't seem to have a license to distribute. Great soundtrack! Great action, the vehicles were very interesting, the guns were all utilitarian (by that I mean extremely useful in the tasks for which they were designed originally) with their own characteristics and the ballistics seemed pretty accurate from what I recall. Not too many games simulate/calculate ballistics very well. I may be mis-remembering this, getting it mixed up with some other game from the same time period. Personally, I even enjoyed singleplayer with bots when I couldn't get LAN multiplayer. Please make sure LAN multiplayer works well! BATTLEFIELD 1942 was awesome as well! Nearly 25 years later and my friends and I still tell stories about these games! I always thought that BATTLEFIELD VIETNAM was the best of the series. Its gameplay was just so much fun! The vehicles added unique challenges to master and huge advantages, balanced by either being difficult to use or too irresistible to players to ignore. I used to have a lot of fun with the tanks and mobile artillery. We used to have amazing tank battles in LAN MP. Great game, for sure. One of my all-time favorites.
Why do you come here G.I. Your government send you here to die. Poor soldier. Going though indian country with no risk of PTSD. Nothing like trying to secure and capture an area, then you hear flight of the valkyries in the distance and you know your friend is coming to kill you.
Those games also need your vote!

Twisted Metal
Twisted MetalTwisted Metal consists of a series of arena-based battles against an increasing number of opponents in increasingly large arenas. These battles culminate in a face-off with the winner of the previous year's competition, Darkside, who drives a large armored car which fires multiple missiles at once. Players can choose one of 12 different vehicles with which to enter combat. Each vehicle has a distinct driver and special move. The controls consist of accelerator, brake, "tight turn" (essentially a handbrake) and turbo on the face buttons, with main weapons and machine gun selection and control on the shoulder buttons. Arenas are populated with weapon pickups to re-supply missile stocks, repair stations for repairing damage to your car, pedestrians, and course stewards armed with either machine guns or missile launchers.

Resident Evil Code: Veronica
Resident Evil Code: VeronicaResident Evil Code: Veronica is the fourth video game in Capcom's Resident Evil survival horror series. The game continues the survival horror gameplay of its predecessors: the protagonist explores the surroundings, fighting monsters and solving puzzles. However, it is the first game in the series to do away with pre-rendered backgrounds using a fully polygonal 3D engine instead, which allows for features such as real-time lighting and camera movement. Still, such movements are only used sparingly, and the use of perspective is mostly unchanged from earlier installments: the camera automatically switches to different static angles showing protagonists, monsters and rooms from different spooky viewpoints.

Resident Evil Survivor 2 Code: Veronica
Resident Evil Survivor 2 Code: VeronicaResident Evil Survivor 2 Code: Veronica is a first-person shooter video game and the second installment in the Gun Survivor series. As in most lightgun games, the objective is to make it through an environment while shooting enemies. It is somewhat less typical in that you have full roaming control over your character rather than being stuck on rails. More unusually, a timer begins as you enter each area. If the timer runs out before you leave, Nemesis will appear and chase you.

D.O.G: Fight For Your Life
D.O.G: Fight For Your LifeD.O.G. is a third-person shooter with vehicles and turrets to use. The game doesn't have a story, you just select a mission that you can afford (you get money from completing missions), kill everyone/everything in it and continue to the next mission. The engine uses voxels, so you can blast the ground with few different weapons, like flamethrower, chaingun, grenade launcher and rocker launcher. Picking up powerups for yourself and your vehicle ease your way on the devastation.
