Book of Travels is a very beautiful and unique game. It really captures the feelings of discovery and exploration. The whole world is unknown to you at the start, and it's never clear at a glance what rumors the NPCs talk about are things to find out in the world, or just rumors. There are little hidden places all over, with special treasures, interesting conversations and just nice places to sit and drink tea. The game has a 24/7 real time clock so you can wander back to a place you've been frequently and still be surprised by a new event because it was the right time of day and the right day of the week. The game itself is so relaxed you are free to do anything that you please. If combat interests you, then tracking down rumors of legendary creatures to fight could take up your entire time. If you prefer magic, you'll be continually delighted by the breadth and variety of spells you can discover, and the mentors who can guide you. If playing the merchant is more your speed, there will be endless reasons to travel up and down the Braided Shore to deliver the right items to the right people for maximum profit. Or maybe you'll find yourself relaxing in some secluded grove and listening to the wind. Or in a deep cave waiting for your eyes to adjust to see the treasures you know are somewhere in front of you. The game is incredible, and I want as many people as possible to know about it!
