by Cobalt Interactive, Quaker Oats
Genres:Arcade, Simulator
Themes:Action
Game modes:Single player
Story:This game was released as a game to advertise Cap'n Crunch cereal. In the game you raise crunchlings by playing mini-games to raise their stats, in order to defeat the boss at the end. There are 3 separate mini-games in the game. In Winter 1999, the "Where's the Cap'n?" promotion returned from 1985. This time kids could log on to the internet to help solve the clues regarding where he had disappeared to. In Spring 2000, the Cap'n was back. This time it was revealed he was in Volcanica (at the center of the Earth) saving the Earth's supply of Crunchium. Alongside his return was this game packaged with specially marked boxes of cereal.Show more

As one of the leading examples of how our society has changed; THIS GAME CANNOT BE FORGOTTEN. This game was only given away when you bought a box of Cap'n Crunch cereal. That's right.. a PC game.. in your cereal box. There is a whole long list of games like that but this one (and of course Chex Quest) stick out. Anyone in their 30s or 40s can tell you they vaguely remember this game. Something like Crunchling Adventure is what GOG Dreamlist was made for.
One of the few games my sisters and cousins played together and enjoyed before we moved away from each other to never see each other again. It's such a simply yet cute game. It's like a gigapet/tamogotchi but cereal themed.
Those games also need your vote!
Yager
YagerStep into the shoes of Magnus Tide, a young fighter pilot who must defend his home and way of life from enemies. Your fighter ship--the Sagittarius--can fire a variety of weapons and switch between hover and jet modes. The ship's maneuvering capabilities allow you to dive into canyons, soar over mountains, and explore different landscapes. Equally advanced are the enemy ships, which range from agile fighters to larger battleships and carriers.

Extreme Assault
Extreme AssaultSet in a futuristic theater of war, Extreme Assault guides the player through six totally different operation zones, each sub-divided into multiple missions requiring the completion of a variety of exciting tasks. Objectives range from destroying all the enemy units in a given area, to rescuing hostages, defending towns, pulverizing hidden bases, and even engaging alien forces! At times you'll also find yourself in restricted quarters and have to transfer from your lethal Sioux AH-23 attack helicopter to the awesome T-1 battle tank. Each vehicle is heavily armed with a vast array of weapons ranging from Laser Guns and Guided Missiles, to enormously powerful Smart Bombs and Thunderbolts. And I haven't even mentioned the graphics!

Premier Manager 98
Premier Manager 98Premier Manager 98 is a team data update of Premier Manager 97. All 92 teams from the nationwide leagues and international teams were updated for the 1997-98 season, keeping all the features from the previous title (online English league database, 3D match engine) untouched. Although only the English league is available, it is still possible to play in pre-season friendlies or international competitions against most first division teams in Europe and South America or scout and sign their players. There are two game modes: Manager and Pro-Manager. Manager allows the player to start in any team. Pro-Manager, on the other hand, requires the player to build his career from the Conference, promoting the club from the lower divisions or getting promoted himself to better ranked teams. It's possible to tweak options such as the level of control ("trainer" leaves the player only in control of player tactics and squad selection, "accountant" is the exact opposite, giving the player control over transfers, contracts, staff, finance, board room options and ground expansions, but no limited control over the squad, "Manager" gives control in all but contract deals and "total" gives full executive control) or if players age and eventually retire, or play forever.

Marble Madness
Marble MadnessMarble Madness is an isometric platform game in which the player manipulates an onscreen marble from a third-person perspective. The player controls the marble's movements with a trackball, though most home versions use game controllers with directional pads. The aim of the game is for the player to complete six maze-like, isometric race courses before a set amount of time expires. When a player completes a race, the remaining time is added to the next race's allotted time. The game also allows two players to compete against each other. Courses are populated with various objects and enemies designed to obstruct the player. As the game progresses, the courses become increasingly difficult and introduce more enemies and obstacles. Each course has a distinct visual theme. For example, the first race, titled "Practice", is a simple course that is much shorter than the others, while the fifth race, named "Silly", features polka-dot patterns and is oriented in a direction opposite from the other courses
