This was the game that first introduced me to the RTS genre. The voice acting gave this game a quirky light-hearted vibe. Each level had you taking your human characters scavenging supplies and stealing dinosaur eggs that you could hatch into controllable dinosaur units. You can unlock a bonus level where you control one T-Rex and do as much devastation to San Diago as possible. With each difficulty-setting you have extra levels to try out at the end of the game's campaign. This game was way more fun than any movie tie-in game should be.
This game came from a time where licensed games had a higher than average chance of being good. It was also from a time when the RTS genre had more variety. Sure, you're still doing base building and gathering supplies, but that's not the focus of the game.
You also didn't often have games that would pay for the entire movie cast to voice their characters. Maybe things were different in the 90s and it didn't take long to record 45 minutes of dialogue. I guess what I'm trying to say is that this was a unique game from a unique period of gaming and it has been abandonware for almost 20 years. Time for it to emerge from the abandonware sites and get some kind of restoration and revitalization,
Amazing game with the real cast providing voice work. A really great RTS that felt really unique given the scenario. I would love to be able to add this one to the collection.
The basics are easy to pick up but the fun of building a velociraptor fleet or rampaging through a city with a T-Rex can't be beat!
Solid number of the original cast lent their voices as well!
THIS GAME! I love this. It's not only a time capsule of the time it came out, but also so enjoyably simple. I would buy this in a heartbeat and keep my eyes watching for the old school games from here on.

He attends the conference in Saraband on behalf of Destonia, along with his brothers Arrawnt and Mageron. As discovered in Scenario 1, much of this influence comes from the Bulzome sect, as well as collaborating separatist factions within both Destonia and Aspinia. Medion works parallel to Synbios of Aspinia, often disposing of rogue Aspinian elements to spare Synbios's force from fighting against its own countrymen. At the end of the game, Medion is forced to battle with Synbios' force when Julian steps in to stop them.Fantasy

Archon II: AdeptArchon 2 or also Adept is the successor of the successful Electronic Arts classic Archon. As already seen in Archon, an apocalyptic fight takes place in a fantasy surrounding, now not between "light" and "dark" but between "order" and "chaos".
It all happens in a game area which is divided into 4 elemental layers. In the center is the earth layer, it is surrounded by the water layer and this is surrounded by the air layer. The outer layer is made of fire.
Opposite to its forerunner the players start in Adept only with one magician ("Adept") per layer. All the other creatures have to be conjured in the course of the game. Evocations and other spells cost energy, which is renewed by occupying energy points on the game area with your own creatures. The more points you occupy, the more energy you get.
Every side possesses 4 own elemental beings, which have a special force when they are on their corresponding layer. Moreover 4 different demons can be conjured from both sides, which can fight independently from the chosen element. Many of these creatures can use a shooting attack, but they have also lots of special attacks.
When two figures meet on a field, here also the screen is zoomed and a fight for life and death starts. The winner claims the hard-fought field.
Dependent on the layer you are fighting on, the battlefield has different obstacles such as slowing-down lakes, shoot destracting swirls, flame walls or simply walls ready. The only exception are the two void fields, here no terrain is usedAction Fantasy
