Story:Codename Eagle is a computer game developed by Stockholm-based studio Refraction Games and was released in November 1999. Refraction Games later merged with EA Digital Illusions CE (DICE) and developed Battlefield 1942. The game is set in an alternate timeline, centered around events in Russia in 1917. World War I has not happened, Germany has not yet become involved with the other world powers, and instead Russia's expanding war machine threatens to throw the continent into a bloody war. The other European powers are allied against the invasion. You take control of "Red", an operative of the secret organization "Shadow Command". The goal is to uncover the Tsar's plans for Europe, using whatever means to demolish the Russian war machine from within. Codename Eagle features vehicle and first-person shooter game play. In Codename Eagle's multiplayer mode players can battle in one of three modes: Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Capture the Flag.Show more

One of the very first games with multiple usable vehicles made for ridiculously fun LAN parties. Take over a plane! Battle from a blimp! This game was the underrated best in show of its day.

One of the funniest Capture-the-flag games we ever played, despite the technical difficulties. Unforgettable moments occurred when me and my friends discovered that you can use cars and planes together and even get in and out of a low flying plane. :-D

While the single player campaign left a little to be desired, the multiplayer was exceptionally fun, with its alternate history WW1 setting letting you pilot tanks, bikes, biplanes and blimps, the latter big enough to fit some smaller vehicles within it. A true precursor to the now famous Battlefield series, with enough unique attributes to stand on its own in a post-Battlefield world as well.

King's Field: Pilot Style
King's Field: Pilot StyleThe three King's Field PS1 games form a trilogy relating the saga of a mythical country named Verdite. King's Field 1 (released only in Japan) was the first RPG for the Playstation console and King's Field 2 (released as "King's Field" in the US and EU) was the first ever Playstation RPG in the US and Europe. King's Field: Pilot Style is a mini game whose story takes place in the period between King's Field 2 and King's Field 3. Pilot Style was given away as a promotional item at a game show in Japan and went relatively unnoticed. It only takes about an hour to complete, but it is an interesting tidbit in the King's Field world.
