Ależ w to się nagrałem:) setki godzin ,każdym samochodem. W tamtych czasach grafika wyrywała z kapci,te detale aut, różnorodność tras.Do dziś do niej wracam.Niby wszystko poszło do przodu ale pierwszy Colin wciąga nadal jak mało która gra Byłoby fajnie zagrać na dzisiejszym sprzęcie w ten klasyk
I remember the European version where I would choose "Novice" difficulty and choosing the Renault Mégane Maxi blue and yellow rally car, and playing a lot when I had my first rig inherited from my cousin. This game, to me, was the precursor to like motorsports in general, and which set my path to be an IT professional nowadays. Remember that had an nVidia TNT2 GPU and a Pentium 3 CPU, as I saw that such rig's hardware was compatible with Windows XP after I upgraded the operating system. Colin McRae and Carlos Sainz Sr. good friendship and legacy will never be forgotten!
Colin McRae Rally is an essential game in the history of racing games and a landmark in rally games. Both PS1 and PC version were very popular(at least in places where WRC is popular) and it's easy to see why. Fantastic presentation, excellent representation of driving in different tracks and weather conditions, gameplay that was instantly gripping but took a long time to get good at. By the time you were driving at night(a real challenge in this game) in the icy roads of Sweden you felt like a real pro. Sega Rally was fun, but this had so much more meat in it. Still an amazing game to play today and it should be on GOG.

New outfits may be earned by completing a character's trick book, by doing a number of specific tricks during play. Three kinds of boards are available to players: trick-oriented Freestyle boards, all-around BX boards, and racing-oriented Alpine boards, which are not meant to be ridden backwards. The courses are located around the world. The snowboarders also come from around the world, and speak in their primary languages.

Midtown Madness
Midtown MadnessMidtown Madness (also known as Midtown Madness: Chicago Edition) is a racing game developed for Windows by Angel Studios (now Rockstar San Diego) and published by Microsoft. The demo version was released via download on May 1, 1999 and the completed game was released toward the end of May 1999.[1] Two sequels followed, with Midtown Madness 2 released in September 2000 and Midtown Madness 3 released in June 2003 for the Xbox. The game is set in Chicago and its objective is to win street races and obtain new cars. Unlike racing games that restrict the player to a race track, Midtown Madness offers an open world recreation of Chicago. This setting was said to provide "an unprecedented degree of freedom to drive around in a virtual city".[2] Players can explore the city via one of several modes, and can determine the weather and traffic conditions for each race. The game supports multiplayer races over a local area network or the Internet. The game received generally positive reviews from gaming websites.[3]

Racing Destruction Set
Racing Destruction SetAn isometric racing game that sets itself apart by the large number of customizable options. The game comes with 50 built-in tracks, and the intuitive editor makes for infinite variety of races. Modify the existing ones or create one yourself. Set up sharp curves, crossovers, jumps (set the height), track width and more. Then set the track width and choose either ice, dirt or pavement for the surface. As if it weren't enough, gravity can also be modified, from a Moon-like low to a crushing Jupiter-like high that will keep your car glued to the ground, even after a jump. Once the track is laid out, race in either a beat up VW Beetle, a stock car, a dirt bike, a Porsche and even a Lunar Rover. Each car has it's own characteristics and you can also choose tires and engine sizes, according to the track you're about to race in. Also, equip your cars with land mines or oil slicks to make the race more interesting. The game allows single-player against a computer opponent, or a two-player race, both in split-screen form.

Boxing
BoxingBoxing shows a top-down view of two boxers, one white and one black. When close enough, a boxer can hit his opponent with a punch (executed by pressing the fire button on the Atari joystick). This causes his opponent to reel back slightly. Long punches score one point, while closer punches (power punches, from the manual) score two. There are no knockdowns or rounds. A match is completed either when one player lands 100 punches (a "knockout") or two minutes have elapsed (a "decision"). In the case of a decision, the player with the most landed punches is the winner. Ties are possible. While the gameplay is simple, there are subtleties, such as getting an opponent on the "ropes" and "juggling" him back and forth between alternate punches.
