As of writing this on January 29th 2025, Condemned 2 is completely locked to the PS3 and Xbox 360 legally, with no PC port or backwards compatibility on modern Xbox systems like the original. Though I have extremely mixed thoughts about the game, the fact it isn't properly preserved like the original always baffled me. Why leave it behind when Criminal Origins is readily playable on modern hardware and Xbox systems? I would love for someone to make a remaster or at least a PC port just so that it's preserved, if nothing more than so a whole new generation get to experience the bear level for the first time.
Like another user said about this game, I have mixed thoughts on Condemned 2, but I find it weird that a PC port was never made.
At least with Condemned: Criminal Origins, it's still on Steam (You'd have to download a patch to run it), and you can play it on Xbox One/Xbox Series X and S via backward compatibility.
Many people also want to play Condemned 2: Criminal Origins but don't want to spend much money on an older console or emulate it using a game system they own.
Without exaggerating, it is my favorite game of all time. It has greatly influenced my art in the time since I played it and I think about the atmosphere very frequently to this day. I have picked apart the lore, characters, backgrounds, maps, models - for 16 years, and still find new details all the time.
It is my comfort game - as strange as that sounds for a horror game about brawling in alleyways. It was divisive but had an incredibly loyal following at one time.
I used to host multiplayer matches for 20 hours at a time and wake up to the grunting, screaming, and crunching noises of people having a great time together. Met several friends on the multiplayer mode who are still with me today.

Addictive and smooth melee combat, rare for the time. Still feels superior to some other melee-focused FPS games to this day. Memorable villains, incredible atmosphere, consistent art direction, the graphics hold up to this day.
Currently it is only officially accessible on PS3 and Xbox 360, and is not backwards compatible on either console's successors.
I've bought the previous game for several friends, and would gladly gift new copies of this one as well, were it made available for PC.
I am being asked to share my memories of this game but idk why it's assumed I've played it just because I think it should be preserved. Preservation should also be about giving an opportunity for certain titles that deserve to be played. Condemned was great and would like to experience Condemned 2.
lots of good games were totally dead with their console system. condemned 2 is one of them. i played this game on my xbox 360, and it was quite good. i was young and dumb so i sold my xbox 360 and its games, now i have no way to play this game. i want this game back.
After WB Games just shutdown Monolith Productions yesterday (25/02/2025), it is more important than ever ALL IPs from now-defunct Monolith Productions are preserved! In the case of Condemned 2: Bloodshot, there is visceral first-person brawls, investigations, disturbing atmosphere, very limited ammo and lots of explorations to find secrets in the levels; in fact, the combat in first person humiliates most of first-person games where there is usually just a melee button, a block button and maybe a doge. This game is a fantastic of how much first-person combat is fun is game studios want to.

Lots of things make this game special for me the story alone definitely does hands down it just was a better all game each level with the exception of the lodge was my favourite and I played it more times than I can possibly count for me that says alot about the game as a whole it kept me going and wanting more shame there was no follow up though
Condemned is a cult classic and one of my favorite horror games. I bet a lot of people haven't played Condemned 2 because it's only on ps3 and xbox 360, and I wish they could play it. It would be amazing to see this game on GOG.

Mechwarrior II was developed in-house by Activision as the successor to their original Mechwarrior. While this time there are no dynamic campaign and mercenary actions, the Clan culture is integrated into the two campaigns. Different clans have different mechs and different rules, even different weapons. You can customize your mechs in order to use less than the "par" force in order to get a higher rating. The full 3D environment wasn't pretty as this was before the 3D accelerators made their debut, but it's still better than anything that came before. Let addition of NetMech allowed users to fight each other online. When 3D cards came along, special versions were created to take advantage of 3D texturing. While not QUITE as replayable as Mechwarrior, it's nonetheless a classic.

Kagero: Deception IIShifting the viewpoint to third-person and the emphasis to trap combos, Kagero: Deception II formed the foundation of current Deception titles and would be built upon in future titles, coming out two years after its predecessor. In it, players assume the role of Millennia, a young girl being used as a puppet and guard for a race known as Timenoids (or TMD, as the game abbreviates their race's name), who are like humans except immortal, and whose power is desired by the humans whose lives they govern. Millennia finds herself in the middle of the war between her own race and her captors, with her chosen side dictated by the player. One of the endings to the game heavily implies that Kagero is a prequel to Tecmo's Deception, and that Millennia will grow up to become Astarte from the first game; this interpretation is supported by the fact that naming the main character in Kagero "Astarte" lets you start with a hefty sum of extra Ark (the game's currency). However, Tecmo has not made it clear if that ending is canon.
The change in how traps functioned gave this game a much more strategic edge than the first game, with traps able to interact with one another in long strings that could be likened to Rube Goldberg set-ups, just much more lethal and involving other people. Instead of using items such as medicinal herbs, healing was accomplished via glowing blue crystals called "loons" which could only be touched once before breaking, never to be used again in a given chapter. Trap improvement was conducted by using the points earned after successfully killing each invader, called Ark, and by following a somewhat logical "tree"—improving an Arrow Slit after a Lightning Rod was created could make a Laser Arrow, for instance. Six secret traps (one of which depicted Suezo, a popular monster from Tecmo's own Monster Rancher titles) could be unlocked in future replays by completing the game and achieving all four endings in the game, as well. Traps, when constructed, could be used as often as the player liked, but required a recharge time between uses in any given level. Game saves are one block in size.Action Fantasy Horror
