Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel 2

by Interplay Entertainment
Genres:Role-playing (RPG), Hack and slash/Beat 'em up
Themes:Action, Science fiction
Game modes:Single player
Story:Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel 2 was the canceled sequel to Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel and was in development by Interplay Entertainment who would self-publish it if it were ever made. The development of the game started before the completion of the original and its development caused the cancellation of Black Isle Studio's Fallout 3. Like Fallout 3, the game was near completion when it was canceled. Like its predecessor, the game would have used the Dark Alliance Engine. It was targeted for a Christmas 2004 release date. Like other Fallout games, the game would have used a reputation system, only simpler. The game would have featured fourteen new weapons and ten new enemies. Depending on whether the player is good or evil, the game would have played out differently. Each of the four characters that were playable would have had a different fighting style, therefore each time the player played the game, they would have a different experience. It would have had two player co-op action for players to experience the game with their friends. The Dark Alliance Engine would have been fleshed out and player experience would have been refined. A brand new sneak system would have been added to the game. This system would have allowed players to stealthily follow enemies or use a sniper rifle on them. For characters that could not use the sniper rifle, Interplay added a turret mode allowing those characters to use turrets.Show more

Magna Carta: Tears of Blood
Magna Carta: Tears of BloodMagna Carta: Tears of Blood is a Korean-made RPG in Japanese style, and a sequel to Phantom of Avalanche; it is set in the same world and has the same protagonist. The game's combat system is turn-based at core, but requires the player to press buttons in a rapid succession and with precise timing to execute attacks. The characters can store up energy to unleash a stronger attack later. Using the technique named Carta, they can also perform various special moves which are based on elemental affinities.

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil SurvivorTokyo is in full lockdown, the government's swift, coldblooded response to a surprise demon invasion. Trapped within the sprawling metropolis is the city's helpless populace, forced to turn on each other in order to survive. A mysterious piece of technology, the COMP, falls into the hands of you and your peers. This device allows you to form contracts, forcing demons to serve you in battle against the otherworldly creatures. There are others with COMPs, so-called demon tamers, who seek to use the demons to satisfy their own whims-be they for justice, peace, or power-in the chaos that was once downtown Tokyo. Where did the demons come from? Why did they appear? Who created the COMPs, and what is their purpose? These questions must soon be answered, for if you fail to solve the mystery, much more is at stake than your own lives.

Random Dungeon
Random DungeonDungeon crawler RPG with light town-building elements created in RPG Maker VX by hamusuta. The player controls a trio of adventurers exploring a mysterious dungeon in order to gather funds to revitalize their town. The loot in the dungeon is randomized, with battles being turn-based affairs heavily dependent on the use of status and buffs/debuffs, as well as the right equipment. The story is mostly humorous and unapologetically yuri, and is presented in a somewhat non-linear manner, with story scenes being unlocked by achieving certain conditions (for example, finding a random weapon in the dungeon, raising your affinity level with a certain character, or using a facility in the town a certain number of times). While the game uses a traditional leveling system, smart use of strategy is rewarded in the form of additional loot and bonus EXP awarded for beating the bosses below a recommended level.
