One of the best horror series of all time. Releasing the entire PS2 trilogy would be a dream come true. These games are stuck on old dying hardware but the forth and fifth entry are available on PC. This would be the perfect oportunity to bring the whole series to a modern platform and preserving it forever.

This is the Fatal Frame I still come back to to this day. I loved searching for horror games on the ps2, but this one stuck with me not just for the atmosphere, but it's also got a excellent and underapreciated survival horror gameplay that in my opinion peaked in 3. I'm hoping not just for Fatal Frame 3, but the other titles as well.

It is genuinely tragic that the PS2-era Fatal Frame games have not been re-released/re-mastered. These games are extremely worthy of preservation. While I played the first two games- I never had the chance to play Fatal Frame 3, and now these games are very hard to acquire. Please bring these games to PC, they deserve to be preserved and made available to more audiences!

Fatal Frame is one of the most unique horror series i have ever play and among those, while the second entry is the obvious fans favorite but for me the third entry is my all times favorite. Not just as a Fatal Frame games but this my number one favorite games of all times. It's a genuinely beautifull story with amazing character, and among other protagonist of the series Rei is somewhat relateable to me both in profession and as person. To make this game (and the first 2 game included) lost in times is a crime, we must preserve this amazing games. And if that happen hopefully with the Japanese dub option too.
Fatal Frame III: The Tormented (2005) – Horror Within a Dream Story & Memory: You play as Rei Kurosawa, haunted by guilt and pulled into a dream world where the boundaries of sleep and death blur. The game brilliantly ties together the first two Fatal Frames, creating a trilogy that deepens the lore and gives closure. Why It Belongs on GOG: It’s rare to find a horror game that handles grief so maturely while still delivering genuine scares. Fatal Frame III deserves to be on GOG for its storytelling, immersive design, and preservation as the emotional and spiritual conclusion to a legendary trilogy.

The Dark Eye
The Dark EyeThe Dark Eye is a computer game of the horror genre, released in 1995 for the PC by the now-defunct software company Inscape. Upon its release the game attracted little attention from either critics or consumers, though it has received some attention since and, arguably, cult status. The game featured combined 3-D graphics, stop motion animation and video segments. With its unconventional interface, storyline, and characters, the game's peculiarity became its selling point. The characters are largely lifelike in appearance except for their clay-modeled faces, which are often distorted or feature grotesquely exaggerated features. This near-realism, sometimes referred to as the uncanny valley, contributed to the game's ambience of unease and anxiety. The character animation is stop-motion. Inscape did the art design of the puppets (lead artist Bruce Heavin) and had a Hollywood house actually make them. Inscape then hired two stop-motion animators and Russell Lees spent many, many hours in a hot, dark warehouse directing the animations. The working hours were from 7 am to 7 pm for about a month. They created computer-generated screenshots of the environments and shot against blue-screen, and they had a director of photography light them to match the environment. Also notable was the use of author William S. Burroughs as a voice actor: Burroughs provided not only the voice for the character of Edwin, but also voiceovers of two slide-show sequences illustrating the short story "The Masque of the Red Death" and the poem "Annabel Lee". Another story, "The Premature Burial", can be found while reading the newspaper during "The Tell-Tale Heart", and the poem "To Helen" can be read while playing the victim in "Berenice". Thomas Dolby composed the game's music. ------------------- Structurally, the game was a point-and-click adventure fueled by the macabre stories of Edgar Allan Poe. The player could experience three of the stories ("The Cask of Amontillado", "The Tell-Tale Heart", and "Berenice") from the perspectives of both murderer and victim. The game presented no choices to make, no life-or-death decisions, and no points; similar to other point-and-click adventures like Myst, the game simply waited for the player to find the next hotspot or location, at which point another video would play to advance the plot. During the portions that were direct interpretations of Poe's stories, the player was constrained to follow the actions of the stories' characters. The player could carry only one item at a time. Much of the animation in The Dark Eye consisted of QuickTime movies, either full-screen or smaller looping segments framed by a static background. -------------------------

Discworld
DiscworldDiscworld is a game released for PC (subsequently Mac, and Playstation) by Teeny Weeny / Perfect 10 studios in 1995. The game was released both on floppy disk and CD-Rom. The latter featured a commentary team created of many veterans of famous Brit-Coms. This included Monty Python's Eric Idle, Radio 4's (later to be more famous) Rob Brydon, ex- Doctor Who John Pertwee, 70s pop singer Kate Robbins, and Blackadder star Tony Robinson. The game is a riff on the Discworld title 'Guards, Guards', however many elements of the text have been shifted, not least the inclusion of Rincewind as protagonist. The game featured puzzles which were considered far too difficult and obtuse for gamers of the time, but the game itself has had a lasting legacy, now being accepted into such emulators as SCUMMVM.
