It's an important game. As with many others, I learned of Fez from Indie Game: the movie, which was promoted on certain online channels. Without thinking much of it, I explored further into the domain, watched it, and fell in love with the power and imagination of indie titles. After playing the game, I can say that it really stands out as a unique title that deserves the attention it garners. From the sprites, the sound, the story; Fez is a unique achievement not only for an indie game, but for video games as a medium.
Fez. Ah, Fez. Possibly the progenitor of the Clever Indie Game, where it does things to get into your mind, or plays clever tricks to reveal a deeper depth.
At first blush, it appears to be a simple 2D platformer where death is but a minor inconvenience. Then the hypercube arrives.
Now yes, at times Fez could be completely full of itself. Some of the puzzles are very much so "think like the developer." Yes, the developers themselves were a bit unprepared for the reception of some of the things they said. Ultimately, it's trifling and silly compared to what has since transpired.
I can only hope that one day, Fez ][ does actually happen. But in the meantime, what a nice void to explore, eh?
Please bring back Fez to GOG!
It's one of the crown jewels of indie gaming.
I really loved the expansion of the game world (higher dimensions, learning the language, the puzzles).
Everyone should get to experience this game, and it deserves to be on the Preservation Program!

I'm confused. Why has this been removed from GoG? I still have it in my Library from back when it was on GoG, but obviously it doesn't show in the shop anymore.
I imagine it doesn't get updated if not being sold on the store?

Quest for Glory V: Dragon FireAfter having survived the dangers he encountered on his previous journey, the hero travels with the wizard Erasmus to a Greece-like country called Silmaria. Its king was recently murdered, and, according to the land's traditions, the crown will be given to the one who passes a contest known as the Rites of Rulership. The hero enters the contest, aided by Erasmus, Rakeesh, and other old friends. However, as the competition progresses, contestants are being systematically killed by an unknown assassin. All the victims are murdered near the Dragon Pillars, which keep the Dragon of Silmaria in captivity. The hero must investigate the crimes and save Silmaria from a grave danger.
Dragon Fire is the final game in the Quest for Glory series. Like the previous games in the series, Dragon Fire is a hybrid between puzzle-solving adventure and role-playing game. The player talks to the world's inhabitants, gathering clues and items necessary to acquire in order to complete the quests and advance the story. Unlike all its predecessors, Dragon Fire has no separate battle screens; the action-based battles take place on the exploration screen, utilizing a simple point-and-click interface, similarly to Diablo. The game has heavier weapon and armor management than other Quest for Glory games, strengthening the RPG angle.
Many quests are optional or can be completed in different ways. The hero can also marry one of the several major female characters in the game, provided the player does the right thing to impress the girl.Action Fantasy
Lineage: The Blood PledgeIn this online RPG of Korean origin, the player can explore the medieval world of Lineage as one of the four available character classes: elf, knight, prince, or wizard. Knights are physical fighters, wizards are proficient in magic, while playing as an elf or a prince require a combination of both. After you create a character, your main goal in the game will be to gain enough experience and to join one of the existent blood pledges, which are equivalent to guilds in other games.
