Fire emblem Sacred Stones was my first FE game. (Thank you Nintendo ambassador program). This game is a MEME game where twins kill the purple brainwashed edgelord to save the continent of Magval. Forde will forever be a homie. I miss Vanessa.
This game was my first foray into the fire emblem world, many years ago. And might I say, what a game it was! For anyone that enjoys turn based combat (with JRPG style battle screens whenever you encounter the enemy) I can’t recommend this game enough Every unit you take onto the battlefield is a a unique character with their own backstory, playstyle, strengths and weaknesses And each unit is upgradable, based on the amount of combat they’re involved in. I remember multiple plays through where I would (for example)p only use knights, and level up a massive army of cavalry, or focus on mages to have a squad of spell casters One thing unique at the time (as far as I can remember anyway) was that the game fetuses permadeath, where losing a character in battle ment they wouldn’t be with you to the end. Similar to games like Xcom, this made you really focus on strategy and doing the best you could to try and teach the finale with your entire army intact Another unique feature was story based encounters, where you had the potential to make new allies, recruit enemy soldiers, etc, depending on which characters you chose to use on a specific enemy. All of that works together to make every encounter feel unique and interesting, with a ton of strategy and ways to play. In short, this game was a masterclass in turn based combat, which brings something for everyone to enjoy, weather you have 5 minutes or more hours. I’d highly recommend.

My first entry in the serie and what an introduction to one of the best game series ever made. I alway been a more sci-fi kind of gamer. But this one rekindle my love for heroic fantasy. I'm still waiting on a game with similar game play and story I space. A mix between Fire emblem, mass effect and StarCraft ... I man can dream right.

This is my 2nd Fire Emblem game and it helped cement my love for this series! It has my favourite system of "Unit Promotion". When you upgrade a character to a new class they aren't railroaded to a single linear path and you don't get to just choose whatever you want, you get a nice little branching path where you get several options that fit into that character's skill set. I love it because you get a feeling of customization while also allowing each character to retain their sense of individuality. Also... on a meta level Fire Emblem Sacred Stones enjoys one of the most expansive, creative, dedicated, and overall EXCELLENT modding communities out there! Bringing this game to PC would be amazing!
Those games also need your vote!

The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
The Legend of Zelda: Phantom HourglassThe Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass is the first Zelda game for the Nintendo DS and a direct sequel to The Wind Waker. The art direction is the same cel-shaded style as the Wind Waker but is displayed from a classic top-down perspective. The gameplay is structured similarly to other games in the series and is divided into two major gameplay sections: sailing between islands and exploring the islands and their dungeons on foot. The touch screen is used to make Link move and attack instead of buttons, you can also make notes of secret treasures and items on the map simply by writing them down. The game received critical acclaim from reviewers, who agreed that the game was a worthy sequel to The Wind Waker.
