My first WW1 dogfighting game
An absolute masterpiece from my memory. Only flight game I played that gave you the option to autopilot to your patrol destination with a chance of finding action before or after the fact, saving dozens of minutes of your life.
Its also the only CFS I believe where music played based on the situation you found yourself in during flight and combat. Very thrilling and immersive when it worked.
Game is available at another "big vendor" but their version is not optimized at all for modern hardware. Game needs the gog touch to reveal its fun but brutal difficulty and forgotten innovations lost to more modern combat flight sims.
I may be a bit presumptuous, but this game is a classic that deserves more attention. I'll gladly have a gog release in my collection
