Hacker is absolutely one of the top five old PC games on my list! Another game that I’ve been searching for that I used to play on my Commodore 64. It’s a terrific spy/thriller/puzzle game where you control a robot and you have items to trade for information and the robot that you control will go to places like Paris, London, the US and other countries. Your job as the hacker is to first figure out How to login so that you can hack the system. The game came with absolutely no instructions and this was incredibly unusual for the 1980s! Eventually, you figure out the login code And then you meet with other spies via the robot and try to figure out what item they would want and exchange for information. You might have an item like a Beatles album. No, which country in the world a Beatles album be worth important information?? It might not be where you think! And as you’re controlling the robot along these corridors in the system, you have to watch out and avoid getting Found by anti-spy tech. It’s a game that will last through the ages. Some games from those days I’ve lost interest in just because the visuals are so much less than what we have now. But this game is just too much fun to stop playing.
