Story:You can choose to race with other tracks in two or three simple tracks, and there is a mode where you can just drive a truck to deliver cargo to your designated location. The second mode might be bit boring, since you do nothing but drive a truck and do nothing more, but it's worth it for two reasons - primarily the extremely beautiful landscape you drive through. It is designed with the utmost care and detail and you can really feel like you're really there. And secondly, the game simulates the job of a truck driver pretty accurately. While driving, you get to experience what a real truck driver feels and does on the road. Now, multiply that by a 1000 miles. But mostly, this is a truck racing game. You can change the view from behind the wheel to outside of the truck, whatever you like. There is also a good rearview mirror that helps you while driving. Overall, this is a fantastic truck simulation and racing game and you should try this one and the games sequels, Hard Truck 2 and the rest of the game's series.Show more

This was my first truck simulator game. I have the cd copy here at home somewhere. I would love to play this game again it brings back such fond memories exploring and trying to get to hidden places I wasn't aloud to access. that combined with the sound track made this game a little boys dream back in the day.
Bardzo lubię stare gry ale lubię też odkrywać różne relikty dawno zapomniane. A ta gra jest jednym z takich reliktów. Uznałbym ją za pierwszy symulator z serii hard truck. Ta gra zapoczątkowała bodajże serię. Nawet teraz gram sobie na windows 11 normalnie z akceleracją 3D korzystając z dgvoodoo. Bardzo lubię tą grafikę taką jakby lekko kartonową. Czuję się jak taki samotny kierowca który jedzie z towarem na przykład w niedzielę bo ludzie o tej porze śpią albo odpoczywają w domach. Ja wiem, może ta gra jest nieco nudna, niedopracowana...ale to gra z 1998 roku i można sobie pojeździć ciężarówkami. No szkoda żeby przepadła całkowicie.

Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed.
The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo.
As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity.
Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control.
