Story:The game is based in the Ghosts'n Goblins universe and features original character designs by Japanese illustrator Susumu Matsushita.
The character is controlled by the player and can move freely within areas by running, jumping, crouching, and performing other various motions. Gameplay revolves around defeating large numbers of enemies, which can be accomplished by attacking with a sword and shield and combos and special moves. Maximo fights wearing armor, if he is hit, he will lose corresponding pieces of armor and eventually be reduced to wearing his boxer shorts, with another hit resulting in him losing a life. If Maximo loses all his lives, he can continue by giving Death Coins to the Grim Reaper. However, every time he loses all his lives, the required cost for a continue increases.Show more

This series was effectively my introduction to Capcom, which has since remained one of my absolute favorite devs, constantly putting out games I adore. The style, the combination of Zelda and Mario (or at least that's how I saw it) mixed with the humor gave it a charm that has stuck with me ever since. It's also rather tragic as this was intended to be a trilogy, and we never got the third game.
My hope (and it's a pipe dream) is that this could garner enough attention brought back to pc that Capcom could be pushed to give us the finale we never got. I'm not a good writer, but this series means a lot to me; I hope that comes across. I'd love to revisit it, and see others play it for the first time to see why it's so special to someone like me.

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's RequiemEternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem is a psychological horror action adventure, released in 2002 by Nintendo for the Gamecube. It tells the stories of twelve characters that span across the world and two millennia who have to deal with ancient forces of evil which have been trying to manifest themselves in our world. Chapters take place in Ancient Rome, Persia, the Middle East, and modern-day Rhode Island. The game features an involved Magic system, which allows different spells to be created through the combination of runes. These spells can attack enemies, dispel illusions, and heal both the body and items.
Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem also has a unique feature called Sanity. If an enemy sees a character, their Sanity meter drops. When Sanity gets low, hallucinations begin to plague the character. SnatcherSnatcher is a cyberpunk-themed graphic adventure game directed and written by Hideo Kojima and produced by Konami. The setting and story of Snatcher is heavily influenced by cyberpunk and science-fiction media, taking place in a large futuristic dystopian city. The story revolves around an investigator named Gillian Seed assigned to investigate a breed of bioroids known as "snatchers", who are killing humans and taking their place in society.
