I knew about the series because some friends had the Monster Hunter PSP game, but I never owned a PSP. When Monster Hunter Tri came out for the Wii, I asked for it for my birthday to try this series that my friends played so much. I started playing, and I was hooked, I wasted hours and hours hunting monsters and gathering materials. Since then, it became one of my favourite sagas, and I've been playing all the games that have come out. Now I can't wait to get my hands on Monster Hunter Wilds.

Underwater combat is something you need to experience for yourself. This game has a great vibe and the gameplay rocks. Have you ever gotten annoyed with a monster diving into the water out of reach and you can't do anything about it because you don't play a ranged weapon? Well now you can dive right in and let that monster know it's not safe anywhere, not anymore. Forget what you've heard online about underwater combat, form your own opinion when this game (hopefully) makes a comeback.

Underwater combat is just so much fun. If anyone has told you otherwise you may have fallen for a propaganda campaign to besmirch the good name of Third Gen Monster Hunter. Tri in particular is a really cool version of the game. The online hub of older Monster Hunters, in Tri, Loc Lac City, offers a very unique experience that isn't really offered in newer Monster Hunter games. Wilds does seem to be approaching a weird hybrid between the smaller 4-player restricted hubs and the City/Town styled hubs of older games but from what I had experienced of Wilds' demo it's really not the same kind of deal. Tri, though, is really just fantastic. The "roster" of large monsters in this game is actually pretty small, smaller than vanilla World iirc, but, imo unlike World the design of the fights in Tri far outclasses World's offerings. It's a really great game and it's a shame that it's stuck on the Wii with dead servers.
I love this game. This game is the game that got me INTO Monster Hunter. I love every part of this game. It rocks. And still, it's one of the best games on the Wii!

I loved this game so much, i remember knowing the saga with this one in a youtube video, i played first mh4u because i only have a 3DS, after MH3U but finally i can play the original Tri and oh boy there are a lot of unique things that 3U changes or even erase, like the bowgun system, the color pallete from the game, the high rank hub Loc Lac have a loooot of charm with the social interaction and your home with personalized things, the climate of the city with day and night system, this game have a lot of charm and unique characteristics that are not in 4U, its like what happen to Monster Hunter Dos and Monster Hunter Freedom 2, that are a veryyy different games, in the case of Tri and 3U its not exaggerating like the Dos case but still, there is a lot of things to rescated and experienced again for old and new players that are not in another's games of the series, without talk the amount of hours and love i have for this game and series in general, i hope every mh game get a pc port to experience these incredible games legally without the need to buy games and consoles of second hand with an significantly overpriced

This my favourite out of all the games in the monster hunter series. It may not have as much content as some others in the series, but it more than makes up for it with atmosphere, excellent monster designs, and an immersive world. It also is the only game in the series to have the custom bowgun system, a fantastic feature that is sadly missing from the other games.
Those games also need your vote!
