DarksporeDarkspore was a video game that borrowed creature editing technology from Spore. It was described as "a fast-paced, science fiction action-role-playing game in which the player battled across alien worlds to save the galaxy from the mutated forces of Darkspore". In addition to the creature editor, the game featured a unique squad-based mechanic, various multiplayer options, and a player versus player arena. The game was released in North America on April 26, 2011 for Microsoft Windows, and in Europe on April 28, 2011.
EA seemingly has removed the store page of Darkspore from Steam, meaning any attempt to purchase it through Steam cannot be made. The game was later relisted with EA saying that they would continue to support for the game. Those who have purchased it prior to the page's removal still have the game and could play it until the servers were shut down permanently on March 1, 2016. ArchangelArchangel is an action game with slight role-playing elements. Travinsky can explore the worlds freely, talk to other characters and take on various side quests. During fights, the focus of the game, he can either use a variety of standard weapons (melee and ranged) or special abilities (e.g. health regeneration, a shield or invisibility) which use up his spirit energy. This energy automatically refills over time, but is also required to use the powerful Sword of Light. He can also shapeshift into either a strong warrior or a sneaky ghost, but which one has to be chosen at the start of the game. The land of CRON is facing many problems brought on by the encroachment of Sheltem and the adventurers must travel through CRON, the four elemental planes and even through time to help Corak stop Sheltem from flinging CRON into its sun.
While in many ways Might and Magic II is an updated version of the original, the improved graphics help greatly with navigation, and the interface added several functions that facilitated gameplay, such as a "delay" selector which allowed for faster or slower response times, and a spinning cursor when input was required - all features lacking in Might and Magic Book One.
