Onimusha 3: Demon Siege

Onimusha 3: Demon Siege (2004)

by Capcom Production Studio 2, Capcom
Genres:Adventure
Themes:Action, Historical
Game modes:Single player
Story:Onimusha 3 is the third game of the Onimusha series. The game retains elements from previous games in the franchise including the use of multiple special weapons in order to fight enemies and absorb their energy to enhance the weaponry. This time the player primarily controls both Samanosuke and Jacques in separate scenarios. The two are able to exchange items in order to solve puzzles. The development from this game started after the release of the PlayStation 2 which allowed the team to work on a 3D engine to design 3D backgrounds. In order to appeal to the Western market, the team set this game in Paris and chose French actor Jean Reno to portray Jacques. Onimusha 3 has been generally well received by publications for video games. Most of the writer's praise focused on the improved controls and the use of a 3D engine that allowed better combat and visuals, respectively. The game also generated good sales with over 1.5 million copies sold as of May 2008.Show more

First of all, Onimusha is one of the great games from the 2000s, a time when it was eagerly awaited to be released within the Capcom trinity on PC. Onimusha 3 Demon Siege gave me the opportunity to experience the Perfect Block or Parry technique and chain together huge destructive combos. The fight before entering the castle where you are alone against an army of the undead is amazing. What's more, we must add to all this the experience of having an extremely recognized action actor in the game like Jean Reno, it wasn't something simple, it was one of the games that marked my youth. Thanks to GOG, this hidden gem returns to the present.

The first game, Onimusha: Warlords, is my favorite game of all time! I never got to finish this game on PS2, and I don't have easy access to it anymore (T.T) I. Need. This. Also, you play as Jean Reno!

Onimusha 3, dmc 3 and God of war 1 were my go to hack and slash games on the ps2 era decades ago. I was such a fan of seeing Jean Reno in a game. Loved this game back then and wanted to play it again nowadays.
Back in the day, I use to watch how my cousin played that game and he never let me play it lol, but I REALLY wanted to try it, I wanted to be that guy with the wip defeating demons, man, I remembered he used to appear in some movies and he looked so sick in all of them, and now he was in a game, man! And now you're telling me I might be able to play it if I and another group of homies over here vote for it!? Be damn sure I'll do that, boe
Those games also need your vote!

Metal Saga
Metal SagaA follow-up to the Metal Max games, Metal Saga is set in the same post-apocalyptic world as its predecessors - a world populated by bounty hunters, rangers, bandits, and mutant monsters. You take the role of a bounty hunter who has to travel the world, looking for "wanted" people. Accompanied by a soldier, a mechanic, and a cyborg dog, the hero must survive a journey west that will ultimately take him to remote places and lead him to battles against evil. Metal Saga has a less linear story line that one would normally expect from a Japanese RPG - a story line that develops according to the missions you decide to take, which in their turn lead to new events and finally to different endings. The combat system features traditional party management and turn-based battles, with the addition of Metal Max's trademark tank combat. When you acquire tanks for your characters, you can use them in battles. Tanks get damaged and broken, but you will be able to customize them by finding parts scattered across the world and assembling them to build new models. Based on the model of tank many different kinds of weapons, cannons, and accessories can be equipped to it, making for hundreds of different options. Tanks can even be given a custom paint job that is saved to the memory card.
