It is a fairly recent game and is still in early access so priority should be low for the time being, but it is a game that deserves to be DRM-free and preserved the GOG way. It should be known by now that this was one of the most enjoyable games of 2024, presenting a plethora of activities to do, gorgeous scenery wherever you look, a fantastic soundtrack, and plenty of Pals to capture and tame for your purposes! It is an all-around enjoyable experience regardless of whether you are alone or with friends.

Contrasting the previous games' bright outlook and recognition for their protagonists, Valkyria Chronicles III explores the themes of being outcast and the search for redemption. As described by its catchphrase, the game tells "The tale of nameless soldiers who, on the verge of despair, changed history." The game was the first in the series to not officially be translated into English by Sega. However, an unofficial fan translation for the Extra Edition was eventually released in December 2013.
