A game that's worth playing over and over to collect and upgrade weapons & gear. Me and brother finished this game together. It is one of the best video games and the ending is one of the most challenging to beat. Great memories

This was the game that my brother put me to play when i was a kid, i always loved the OST from Yoko Shimomura and the combat will always have a place in my heart due to me being in love with turn-based jrpgs, also Aya is one of the most badass MC in survival horror (IMO), great story with fun elements and masterpiece OST. Please bring it to PC, there would be nothing better than having it DRM-free forever.
In Australia (for PAL consoles) the first Parasite Eve wasn't released for us (just Parasite Eve II on PS1 + The 3rd Birthday for PSP) and it is a game I've always wanted to play in English (I have only briefly played the first few minutes of it in Japanese). I would be so incredibly grateful if I could finally be able to experience playing this game. (Overall, I think it would be amazing to be able to finally experience playing games that were not released for PAL consoles but were still released in English/United States). Thank you so much :-)

Parasite Eve is a rare gem of Squaresoft experimenting with game mechanics that give off unique and exciting experiences. Loved how the combat worked, a combination of an active time battle with free movement. I remember recording that intro on a Talk Boy so I could listen. The only way we could listen to OSTs in music back in the day. Also one of the early games that introduced me to end game content.
When I first played Parasite Eve, I had no idea what I was getting into. It wasn’t just another game—it was something different, something special. The eerie atmosphere, the cinematic storytelling, the fusion of RPG mechanics with survival horror… it pulled me in like nothing else. Aya Brea became one of my favorite protagonists, and the soundtrack still gives me chills. The combat felt ahead of its time, and the game’s lore stuck with me long after the credits rolled.

This game had quite the impact on me as I was but a teenager when it was released and I only knew a bit of English. But oh boy, did it make my vocabulary in biology and genetics increase by tenfold 😅 I still vividly remember the time I spent finishing the game again and again on new game+ to get higher and higher in that #!&+€#? Chrysler building 👍 Obviously, no sane person would keep at it if the game wasn't good (and relatively short) in the first place. Great story (freely adapted from the original novel), very nice and simple gameplay, which is a good thing, really. Very distinctive for its time, marvelous all the way.
This game needs to be remastered or remake, in my opinion, the game itself, the ost, story and everything is awesome, i always loved the ost from Yoko Shimomura + gameplay is solid with one of the the most badass female mc in survival horror

Playstation interactive sampler 8 had this game as a preview and i was always hooked. Also this game needs the love it deserves. Cause lets this the only way this game gets a modern port. Also i dont trust square enix. Between the music game play and story i just don't want this game franchise gathering dust. And also i saw Dino Crisis got a modern port i hope this game does too.

Obra de arte, sempre via ele na locadora do Paulão junto com o Galerians, infelizmente só consegui jogar depois que ja estava mais velho porque a locadora do Paulão fechou, Gostaria muito da volta do melhor jogo de terror e RPG da história.
I've never played it but I've always been interested and had a strange and nostalgic desire to play it. I've looked for every way but unfortunately bad luck has always been with me... in the best of times... I've never had a PS2 or an opportunity to play a little bit of this game. Now! I might have a unique chance now on GOG!

Drakengard
DrakengardDrakengard follows the story of a kingdomless prince named Caim who fights for the Union against the Empire. Under the Union's protection are the Hierarchs and the Goddess, currently Caim's sister Furiae, who is a human manifestation of one of the four seals that protect the world from being broken. As the game begins, Cain is fatally wounded in a battle with the Empire. Encountering a captured Red Dragon who is also near death, Caim makes a fateful choice. In exchange for both their lives, the Red Dragon and Caim will enter a pact. This pact will forever chain their lives to one another and link their souls, at the cost of something irreplaceable. Recharged with the fires of a Dragon, Caim's vengeance burns over the enemy... The player controls Caim on his quest. The game is separated into three distinct modes: Aerial combat, Ground combat and Event Combat. In Aerial Combat, Caim rides dragonback against a variety of airborne foes breathing fireballs (strong single shots and weaker multiple lock-on shots). The Dragon is agile and is able to evade incoming threats, turning around completely in a moment. In Ground combat, the game is shown in 3rd person though usually large, open areas. Controlling Caim, his primary ability is the use of a variety of weapons found on the battlefield. These are leveled up through continued usage, and specifically through the killing of individual enemies. Though magic (determined by weapon choice), timed attacks and evasion, Caim breaks through enemy armies. Characters recruited as allies by Caim can also be summoned during battles, steadily losing health until control is returned to Caim. In ground combat, Caim may also call forth his Dragon to ride and strafe enemies from the air. The Dragon's movements are generally the same as in aerial combat but more limited and less agile. Event combat is similar to Ground combat, but shown isometrically, restricted to a single weapon and without the aid of a dragon. It is used mainly to tell story sequences. Levels that have been visited before might become "Expedition Missions" which are optional and contain new objectives, enemies and weapons. Additionally, any level previously played in the storyline may be revisited at any time. Depending on Caim's choices (and prerequisites for those choices), there are five different endings to Drakengard.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow
Castlevania: Lords of ShadowGabriel Belmont learns of a mask with the power to raise the dead and sets out on a mission to obtain it to bring his recently murdered wife back from the dead. Lords of Shadow builds upon the combat systems first explored in this series in 2003's Lament of Innocence and adds more violent kills to the mix. Inspiration for these changes seems to have come from 2005's God of War.

Neopets: The Darkest Faerie
Neopets: The Darkest FaeriePlayers control Tor and Roberta, two animal-like Neopets on a quest against evil. By switching between the two at any time, players can use Tor's up-close melee attacks or cause damage from afar with Roberta's spells. This game stays faithful to the traditional third-person action-adventure. Magical items and weapons gained along the way will develop the characters' abilities and strengths. In particular, elementally-aligned motes can be attached to weapons and armor as a combat bonus. There are many puzzles and side-quests along the way, and players will fight evil Neopets.

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard
Resident Evil 7: BiohazardResident Evil 7: Biohazard is the first game of the Resident Evil series to switch from 3rd-person to fully 1st-person perspective. A complete refresh of gameplay systems simultaneously propels the survival horror experience to another level.
