People say The Last of Us made them feel like a dad, but for me, this is the ultimate dad experience. I recently played it through emulation. Although it hasn't aged well in many parts, I really enjoyed playing it, and it holds a special place in my heart. I recommended it to my friend, and he seems to like it. (Though he asked me if child labor is a thing in Japan, which is... uhhh, odd?) I would love to see it on GOG.
