Story:R.U.S.E is a one-of-a-kind real-time strategy game that allows players to bluff their enemies to lead their nation to victory, controlling the action using views that range seamlessly from the heart of the battlefield to the full theatre of war. Players will be plunged into the action thanks to the exclusive IRISZOOM engine which offers an intuitive interface that allows for smooth, rapid transitions from a birds-eye view of the entire conflict, down into the heat of the battle and vice versa. In R.U.S.E, your brain is your ultimate weapon as you fight a war of perception, where your ability to deceive and mislead your enemy determines success. A first in a strategy game, R.U.S.E reinvigorates the genre by using deception to give new-found depth to the gameplay.Show more

Blitzy WW2 RTS with arcadey vibes. Big endgame unit stacks and early game rushes galore - requires tactics not strategy and kinda rocks. Edit: It is abandoneware today, so indie RUSE 2 step up.

One of the greatest and most unique RTS games ever. Hours upon hours have been played with friends with every game being a different experience. This needs to be released to the public again!
Honest one of the most memorable games to due to all the explosions and how BOMBASTIC it was, I love being able to order literal army paratroopers to drop at my command even they didn't all make to the drop point it was truly spectacle for the eyes to behold chaos the explosive visual seeing massive arty barrages or seeing planes fall form the heavens it was beautiful and frustrating when i loss and that was just the demo i kept playing until couldn't anymore
we need this game back Ubisoft. Simple, tactical and a endless level of fun, makes this game to one of the best strategy games ever developed. Hower we need a new platform, that new player can play and get the game .
Sadly this is the most unique RTS WW2 style I have see in my life, and there is no prolongation like R.U.S.E. 2 they even have get it off all stores, it's crazy...
One of my first and favorite RTS games on the Xbox 360. great gameplay, impressive graphics, and unique features, one of my all time favorites as a life long RTS fan. (It's abandonware so hopefully an easy port)
More or less the most interesting thing to come out of Ubisoft in two decades. It's one of those games that is simple to learn and hard to master. It's built on simple things like supply lines, unit counters, a unique Fog of War system - with some excellent theming of it all being a board game. On top of that, it's an absolute spectacle to watch. The battles can become MASSIVE in scale while still being readable. It's something everyone who's played it appreciates, and it's a crying shame RUSE never became more popular. After R.U.S.E., the developer (Eugen Systems) would parts way with Ubisoft, and develop the Wargame series. While that series has its appeal (and indeed takes some inspiration from RUSE), it's a wholly different game series. There's nothing quite like R.U.S.E. It would be a shame if it was lost to time.

I have no idea why UBI decided to treat this game like they did. This game set a standard for a whole new sub-genre within RTS games. It had good balance between economy, base building and fighting the enemy. Actual map control (instead of just the tiny pockets where the resources were) was a thing here. Aggressive play was rewarded, so was proper scouting, intelligence was not just a matter of sending a few units towards the enemy to see what they had. It could be manipulated. Terrain had properties you had to keep in mind, since being in the wrong territory with the wrong units could topple the unit power balance. Reading the map, and the information it gave you, and judging it properly, were key points. And the whole "you are looking at the battle from the planning table" feel made it all the more immersive.
Those games also need your vote!

Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns
Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two TownsLong ago the towns of Bluebell and Konohana were friendly neighbors, joined together by a tunnel underneath the mountain that separates the towns. Eventually the towns started to disagree with each other on whose town had the best cooking cuisine. As the villagers became more obnoxious with each other, the Harvest Goddess became more annoyed with them. One day she finally put her foot down and collapsed the tunnel between the towns, cutting them off from each other. Now the only interaction the towns have with each other is at their cooking festival, where their cooking conflict continues four times per season. As a new farmer, you are eager to start your new life at one of the towns but a freak travel accident makes you to forget what town you originally were going to live in! Listen to each mayor's story, hear about each town, and then decide where you want to start your new farm life.
