Yet another sonic game with an old PC port, which can't be offically obtained, or played easily anymore. I have only played a bit with friends on Gems colledtion, but I would buy in a heartbeat once offically available.

Sonic R is a very short game and can feel a little jank at times, but I have a soft spot for it since I grew up playing the original Sega Saturn version. There's a PC version and I wish it was available on GOG so that it can be easily accessible. Right now, the PC version is a little hard to come by.
Short but sweet racing game, of the rare (mostly) footrace variety with a legendary soundtrack. Would like to see this playable on modern PCs again without a struggle. Would hope GOG could also properly provide the 1998 version with the official LAN multiplayer patch!

Played this all the time on Sega Saturn. Then I found out my buddy had it on PC and was blown away by the extra features and how it ran at 60fps! Please bring this back!
I had this game as a kid on PC, but have no idea what happened to the disc. Would love to own it again. Worth it for the soundtrack alone, and a decently fun game.

Originally bought for SEGA SATURN and then for PC as part of the XPLOSIV (or something) editor, this is a real dream memory that should be brought back to life and , if not, better.

I grew with the Sonic Gems Collection version, which I was surprised to learn that it was the PC port of the game. While, I have an official copy, it would be nice to have it be accessible on GOG, where it can be preserved.
This game is not one of the greats of racing gaming on any platform, but i had my fun with it about 8-10 years ago, when i used to go on vacation with only a PS2 and a small selection of games (The Sonic Gems Collection being one of those)
Why Sonic R Needs to Be on GOG and Why It’s the Most Underrated Sonic Game Ever Sonic R is one of the most misunderstood yet charming gems in the Sonic franchise, and it deserves a second chance on GOG where it can shine with modern compatibility and DRM-free preservation. Released in 1997 for the Sega Saturn and later on PC, Sonic R took a bold step by putting Sonic and his friends into a 3D racing environment—something daring and different at the time. What makes Sonic R special is its unique approach to racing. It wasn’t just about speed; it was about exploration, shortcuts, platforming, and mastery. The courses were designed like Sonic levels—layered with secrets, alternative paths, and character-specific advantages. In many ways, it felt like a true Sonic experience, just in racing form. Unlike traditional racers, Sonic R emphasized learning each track inside and out, rewarding creativity and curiosity. Its soundtrack, composed by Richard Jacques and sung by TJ Davis, is iconic. The upbeat and unapologetically catchy vocal tracks like “Can You Feel the Sunshine?” and “Living in the City” have become cult classics—often remembered more fondly today than at launch. Yes, the controls were floaty. Yes, it was quirky. But Sonic R was ahead of its time in combining platforming with racing. On GOG, it could reach a new audience, free from outdated tech limitations, and be reappreciated as the experimental, colorful, and unique Sonic spin-off that it truly is. It’s not just nostalgia—it’s time for redemption.
This game is not even good, but it's just so fun. Finding the secret bits of each level. And the soundtrack is amazing. Why is there three separate pages for this game?? gog.com/dreamlist/game/sonic-r gog.com/dreamlist/game/sonic-r-1997-2

The Godfather: Blackhand Edition
The Godfather: Blackhand EditionThe Godfather: Blackhand Edition, is the highest rated version of The Godfather on Gamerankings and IGN, despite not faring as well with other publications. It features 20 normal missions, ten new hit missions, a new rival family seen only in the new hit missions, rooftop battles, new favors, and other methods such as blackmail and bribery. The Blackhand Edition adds a second path that the player may take through the game, that of the operator. The main method of progression is by blackmailing police, the FBI or members of other families, and what the player does or says affects the outcome. While the enforcer's goal is to destroy the other families through brute force, the operator's is to blackmail the police chiefs of the five boroughs by finding enough "dirt" on them during missions. The player then blackmails the chiefs, enabling the bribe gauge to fill to the top for free every time the player talks to the chief, effectively allowing the player to take control of the police in that area. The police fight alongside the player's family members and can also arrest or kill rival family members. The path of the operator also grants the player additional tactical abilities that are not open to the enforcer, such as enhanced and regenerating health, the ability to call in the four-man hit squad twice as often, enhanced crew damages and health, ability to plant car bombs and make instant stealth kills, and reduced price on bribing on the police and FBI.
