Why South Park: The Stick of Truth Needs to Be on GOG – The Funniest and Best RPG Ever Made South Park: The Stick of Truth isn’t just a licensed game — it’s a love letter to fans of the show and a brilliant RPG in its own right. Co-created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the game captures everything that makes South Park legendary: biting satire, hilarious moments, and surprisingly deep storytelling. It deserves to be preserved DRM-free on GOG, where classic and beloved games are given new life. What makes The Stick of Truth stand out is how it feels like you’re playing an actual episode of the show. The art style, voice acting, humor, and dialogue are perfectly on-brand, blending TV and gaming in a way few titles ever have. Yet beneath the jokes lies a genuinely solid RPG, complete with turn-based combat, classes, gear upgrades, quests, and a well-crafted open world. You play as the "New Kid" in town, swept into an epic fantasy battle between humans, elves, and aliens — and things only get weirder from there. The game lampoons everything from RPG tropes to pop culture, making it one of the funniest games ever made. But it also respects the genre it's parodying, with solid mechanics and surprising emotional beats. Releasing South Park: The Stick of Truth on GOG would give fans a DRM-free version they can own forever. It’s more than just a comedy RPG — it’s a bold, brilliant game that stands the test of time and deserves a place in every classic game library.

It has some of the greatest laugh-out-loud moments I've ever experienced in a video game, and it's immersive enough to make you feel like you're in another episode of the tv series.

Monster Hunter
Monster HunterMonster Hunter is an online action-hunting game by CAPCOM for the PlayStation 2 released on March 11th, 2004 in Japan, and September 21st, 2004 in North America. The game is a fantasy hunting simulator filled with many deadly monsters. Like actual hunting, successfully killing or capturing the monsters requires significant strategy, skill and involved resource management. While initially considered a commercial failure, Monster Hunter would go on to become one of CAPCOM's highest selling franchises. Despite featuring an offline mode, Monster Hunter was primarily an online game. The official servers were shut down on December 31, 2007 in North America and Europe, and July 1, 2011 in Japan. This means that it is now impossible to play online on official CAPCOM servers. Despite this, the game still features a small active community on private servers.

Valkyria Chronicles 2
Valkyria Chronicles 2Valkyria Chronicles 2 is a sequel to the critically acclaimed tactical RPG Valkyria Chronicles on the PS3, which was released exclusively on the PSP (PlayStation Portable) system. The game takes place two years after the conclusion of the original game and takes you back to the epic adventure set in 1930’s fictitious Europe. In this sequel, you play as a group of young Gallian Military Academy cadets who find themselves plunged into a bitter civil war when the newly formed Gallian Revolutionary Army stages a coup. As the drama and battle unfold, you will experience stories of friendship, love and growing pains during a time of war and revolution. The 'CANVAS' engine originally developed by SEGA Game Studios Japan for Valkyria Chronicles has been fully redesigned for the PSP system. This incredibly distinctive engine will power over 20 new distinct and visually stunning environments where you will have over 200 different missions to explore. For the first time ad-hoc Versus and Co-op multiplayer gameplay will now be available. The 'BLiTZ' battle system has also been re-designed to offer players the freedom to strategically move around the environment and attack enemies using real-time controls, something never before seen in the tactical role-playing game genre. This game adds some new unit classes and the ability to upgrade or change classes. It also changes the battle system to include multiple map areas that are unlocked as you take over enemy bases revealing more of the battlefield and allowing you to call units into that area.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 is an action-adventure game and a sequel to the 2010 game, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, and the 35th installment on the Castlevania franchise. The game was developed by MercurySteam and published by Konami. This is MercurySteam's last contribution to the franchise. The story is set in both medieval and modern worlds. As in the previous game, the player controls Gabriel Belmont, now known as Dracula, as he fights through an open world. During the game's opening sequence the player is able to control Dracula while he still possesses all his powers as well as all of his weapons. Dracula's main weapon is his Blood Whip, a weapon that is comparable to the Combat Cross from the original Lords of Shadow. Replacing the magic system from the previous game are the Void Sword and the Chaos Claws. The Void Sword can replenish Dracula's health when used while the Chaos Claws can be used to break through enemy defenses and deliver powerful attacks. The story mode in Lords of Shadow 2 has been stated to be far longer than the previous one. The game is mainly an open world allowing the player to choose what route to take. This game also features a movable camera, something that was not available in the first Lords of Shadow game.
