Grew up with this game. At school I would spend all my free time reading over the game booklet. Which led to us using the limited warrenty to replace our CD-ROM when it started to malfunction.
The mechanics were always clunky, but I had a lot of fun with the story and the challenge. I still go through way too much effort to make this thing work on modern systems. Even playing with hex editors and the like to make it at least semi-functional.
It would be great to have unfettered access to the game in the future. I'm sure I'll spend another chunk of my life playing through it again. And maybe finally try my hand at the multi-player functionality.
