I've been a huge Suikoden fan since the first game, which I initially rented from a game store as a kid and fell in love with. I was gutted to hear that there would be no release for Suikoden III in the UK (and had no means of getting it as a 14 year old), but got the chance to play it thanks to my Mum bringing back a copy of the game and a NTSC PS2 to play it on after visiting the US. I loved the game and still do to this day.
The Suikoden games would be ideal to bring to GOG - it's an underappreciated series that has it's place among the greats, but III, IV and V and series spinoffs all risk being left behind on old platforms. They deserve to be immortalized here where new and old fans can enjoy them without being scalped or forced to emulate to do so.
It makes me happy every time I play it. Even though it's age shows. The only way I can replay it is on an emulator on my phone. This is in my top 5 favorite games of all time. There are better games, but form some reason this one has my heart.
I played the sequels 4 and 5 on the PS2 and loved them. That's why I saved up my pocket money to buy the 3rd part aswell. Part 3 was unfortunately not released in Europe, which is why I had to get the American version..... unfortunately I didn't know at the time that the PS2 had a regional restriction and I couldn't play the game.... I was devastated, but kept the game in my collection anyway. Years later I found out that you can use a PS2 emulator on the PC to bypass the regional restriction on the CD and so I could finally play the 3rd part of the Suikoden series and the whole effort was finally worth it *happy*. This game simply has to be preserved, please.

Of course you have to dig deep into the underground to find them. Your responsibility lies in the building. managing and defending of mines. To achieve this you hire employees with different professions: Craftsmen, researchers, mine workers, hauliers and warriors. These people want to see money for their work and they improve their abilities when they become experienced.
During the game you dig new alleys, equip them with traps, research new tools and fight against enemy troops to conquer their alleys. Later you have mutated creatures to your disposal. You spend most of your time on a map with hexagonal fields. There you issue orders and set the routes of your employees.
The in 1995 released CD-ROM version features speech, new background music and an online help. Additionally there is a "light" version of the game which tones down the complexity.
The PC version of Magic Endoria differs from the Commodore 64 version released the previous year in that it is real time instead of turn based.
Dragon Warrior IIIDragon Warrior III is a top-down role-playing game where you travel around the overworld, caves, castles, cities and other locations while battling random encounters, buying equipment, and talking to people.
You and your party members receive experience when they beat up monsters and level up with enough experience, increasing their stats.
The game features a day/night cycle - as you travel, day slowly changes to night and vice versa; shops are typically closed at night.
You begin with control of just the main character but can quickly recruit three more members to your party. During the game you can choose to drop your current characters and recruit others at any time. The recruitable characters are divided into six classes: soldier, fighter, merchant, goof-off, pilgrim and wizard.
The game has a unique job system, giving you the ability to switch your hired characters' classes after they have achieved at least level 20 in their base class. Characters can switch to the other beginning classes, as well as the sage class, which is not available at the beginning. When a character switches classes, they lose all earned experience points, and half of their stats, but retain all the abilities of the previous class.
