Story:In SWIV 3D you fly/drive a helicopter, 4-wheel-drive jeep, ice buggy, or hovership through a variety of terrestrial and extraterrestrial landscapes. Several stages include garages where you switch from a ground vehicle to an air vehicle and vice-versa. Each of your vehicles carries more firepower than Quino or Campa (see Desperado), with weapons ranging from wimpy missiles to the almighty smart bomb. Remember getting a demo of this with a computer magazine as a kid and was completely hooked from the first moment - relatively open world, difficult but not brutally so and very enticing gameplay. 100% memorable, and I truly wish to relive it some day.

What a great game. I'd never played anything else quite like it as a kid. The gameplay was fast and smooth, you could pretty much go wherever in open-world fashion, challenging and exciting gameplay... This game reminded me a lot of Desert Strike back then. Except this was full 3D. The black draw distance fog also gave the game a sort of dark and mysterious element to it that I really enjoyed.
