This game helped me some bad medical times. the amount of time my sister and I put into it. The amount of care I tried to give the actors and I felt bad when I had to fire people cause I ran out money.

This is a very interesting sandbox game that sadly was not as popular as I have expected. It allows the player to create scripts and then film their own movies. Besides that, it is a pretty solid managerial game, it requires the player (the manager) to identify the best crew/director/actors for the roles in each project. I have learned a lot and many players would as well if we had this title available here.

I discovered this game from seeing videos on Gamespot back in the day. When I bought it I spend hours of my childhood making whatever movies came to my mind. It's a truly unique game and having it lost to the sands of time is a tragedy.
Don't let this forgotten gem be lost to time. Many have tried to replicate it's unique gameplay, but none have succeeded. Nothing beats the original recipe, so please, Don't let this underrated classic get swept away!

Oh the memories with this game... I used to spend hours and hours when I was a kid creating my Hollywood fantasy studio, designing my own scripts and seeing them come to life, to after even recording voice lines with my friends and creating short films with it. The beautiful memories I have with this game... Would love to re-experience them all over again.

Probably the most fun I had to make my own movies in a video game. The movies were short, but you could upload them back in the day to the movies website and people could vote and watch it. You make a studio, hire actors, directors, assistants etc, the lot, and you start making a low budget movie to see if the public likes it, and you go up when your movies are succesful. Incredible game and lots of cool innovations now being lost in time.
I've been wanting to play a film studio sim for years now but there's none that have matched this level. I had fond memories of this game as a kid and now I'm a better player I want to have another go at this. This game has been stuck in incompatability hell for too long.
I loved this game as a kid but it won't run on Linux no matter how hard I've tried, it's delisted from steam and I can only play my disc copy on an old windows 7 laptop. I just wanna buy it again where I can play it easily

I used to play this all the time growing up in my early teens & loved just making a ton of random little movies & the managing the studio itself through the decades in game. The Stunts & Effects expansion was also a nice add on to the base game too. Would love to be able to buy this officially and have again to easily install & play!

The only GOOD movie studio simulator to date. I'm sorry, i don't want to be hard against the developers of similar games but... this (still) is the goat. If the mayor problem with licensing this game has to do with Chrysler and the models ingame, take them off or modify them to avoid those problems, but please, make it available. AND, don't forget the expansion (maybe tweak it a little bit because it kinda screwed up the default scripts you get to film, like they don't make sense anymore).
Those games also need your vote!
MechWarrior 2: 31st Century Combat
MechWarrior 2: 31st Century CombatYou are the genetically engineered Clan Mechwarrior. The Clans are invading the Inner Sphere. Join either the Wolf Clan or the Jade Falcon Clan as they pursue their own agenda against the Inner Sphere and other Clans. Take your advanced Omnimechs into battle against all comers. Win high warrior ratings (by using less mechs or smaller mechs than needed, completing secondary objectives, etc.) and you'll get chance at a promotion trial where you face superior odds in an arena. If you win, you advance in rank. If you are very successfully, you can make it all the way up to Khan, leader of the Clan! Mechwarrior II was developed in-house by Activision as the successor to their original Mechwarrior. While this time there are no dynamic campaign and mercenary actions, the Clan culture is integrated into the two campaigns. Different clans have different mechs and different rules, even different weapons. You can customize your mechs in order to use less than the "par" force in order to get a higher rating. The full 3D environment wasn't pretty as this was before the 3D accelerators made their debut, but it's still better than anything that came before. Let addition of NetMech allowed users to fight each other online. When 3D cards came along, special versions were created to take advantage of 3D texturing. While not QUITE as replayable as Mechwarrior, it's nonetheless a classic. If you want them now, get the Titanium Edition, which is 3D accelerated.

MechWarrior
MechWarriorMechWarrior is the first video game released in the BattleTech game series. MechWarrior was the first video game to offer the player a chance to pilot a BattleMech from the view of a pilot (a MechWarrior). With this game the player has a great deal of freedom when compared to many of the follow-up MechWarrior games, which include choosing missions, buying & selling 'Mechs and parts, hiring lance-mates, and traveling throughout the Inner Sphere. Underneath the major game mechanics, the player had the option of following a role playing style story arc that would unfold over a five-year (game time) period.
