I played this game for hours upon hours when I was younger. I would love nothing more than than a port of this game that works on modern PC's. I used to play this game online and spent way too much time on the PvP modes and also meticulously setting up cool action plans for the single player missions. What a great time. It would be an immediate buy for me and many other people.

The forgotten one from the classic trilogy. If BUGisoft doesn't care about bringing this one back, then we got to keep playing R6 Black Ops 2.0. Anyway it's still better than Siege and Extraction.

The first game is available on GOG and, while amazing, is not as good as Rogue Spear in my opinion. I feel it does the franchise a disservice not to preserve Rogue Spear for its importance. Additionally, I have many fond memories growing up of playing this game on the family computer and recently bought a used copy that doesn't like modern operating systems, so seeing it preserved would mean the world to me.

I have strong memories with this one, like for example that I was used to playing using the arrow keys, and then when I got to this one the movement was all done by the AWSD and I thought the game had some problem XD. But then I understood the controls, I saw that it was a game as good as the first one, it would be a great chance for GOG to complete the series with this one.

I played this fabulous game when it was released, especially with my cousin Daniele, a Folgore paratrooper. We loved planning missions and had a lot of fun. I hope you bring it to GoG. It would be a wonderful gift to remember my cousin. The best Rainbow Six ever in my opinion
While modern Rainbow Six is more on action and remains strategy, nothing comes close to these original babies that started it all in the iconic franchise that were so unforgiving and STRICLY strategy, most of the game was gonna play out how you organize the mission before it begins!
A pivotal game in the tactical 1st person shooter genre. Still remember being in awe of giving sniper go codes. Also the 747 mission was ahead of its time. Multiplayer alone would make this an easy buy.

One of the greatest MP experiences of my life. This is a gem, and should be considered for the dream list. I remember playing WW2 mods and others with friends often. This is a true classic, and although the base Rainbow Six is on here, why not Rogue Spear!?

My first experience with tactical action FPS. In my opinion, the best of the original series. The maps and missions are all seared into my brain forever. I remember spending hours just in mission planning, refining routes for the different teams and evaluating different room breaching and clearing strategies. Nothing compared to the sweaty anxiety as I'd be at the end of a mission, too afraid to start the assault on the final room filled with hostages and their armed captors. I remember falling out of my chair when I got one-shot, so many times. This game would be a huge win for GOG, especially with functional multiplayer.
Those games also need your vote!

Shogun: Total War
Shogun: Total WarSet against the backdrop of the Sengoku Jidai (Warring States) period from the 15th to the beginning of the 17th century, Shogun: Total War is a real-time tactics and turn-based strategy game with a strong focus on historical authenticity. Players assume control of a daimyo (leader) of a contemporary Japanese clan and attempt to conquer the nation and claim the title of supreme Shogun, the undisputed military ruler of Japan. The gameplay consist of two parts – a turn-based Risk-style mode on a 2D campaign map of Japan where the player must recruit, manage and move their armies, conduct diplomacy, trade, espionage, sabotage and assassinations. This 2D map however ultimately serves to provide context for the 3D real-time battles that make up the main part of the game and occur whenever your army crosses into enemy territory or two opposing forces meet on the campaign map.

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.
