My introductory game to the Warhammer World. The game is quite unique even with today's releases, as its campaign is made of scenarios—with a lethal finality on the loss of units.

I love the campaign of this game. The battles are all meaningful, the dialogues are well written and the story is interesting and immersive. Its almost like reading a good story book.

Oh god. I remember this game and I recently wanted to replay it. I don’t know why, but I remember it having “pretty good” german voiceovers. My favorite thing of all time about it, is the fact that the german pc gaming magazine “GameStar” gave it an award for ‘extraordinary realism’ because terrain height and so on was an important factor in the battles. Bold choice for a warhammer fantasy game.

A worthy successor to Warcraft: Shadow of the Horned Rat, somewhat more complicated due to the undead nature of the enemies and that almost all of its units caused fear, a game that I would like to enjoy again

I remember being so hooked on this game, that when my alloted PC time was over I recreated the missions using Lego, humming the background music and mimicing the sound effects. I couple of years ago I managed to make my copy run on a modern system after some wrangling, and I'd say it still holds up, 3D terrain with character sprites is a really good combo, and even the interface while clunky, is still a massive improvement over SotHR. Trully a Good Old Game that could use some love in the "running it on modern hardware" department.
If you've never heard of warhammer, Dark omen brings you into the world and shows you what to expect. It doesn't tell you it shows you, and the first time you're wizard explodes will leave a lasting impression

A superb blend of micro and macro strategy, that has never been bettered. There's Win10/11 fixes and even new mod campaigns, maps and multiplayer on the Dark Omem forum.

Destiny
DestinyBungie has emphasized that the universe of Destiny will be "alive". Events may happen in-game that are not necessarily controlled or planned by the developer, which will help to create a dynamic developing experience for Bungie and a dynamic playing experience for gamers. The game's style has been described a first-person shooter that will incorporate massively multiplayer online game (MMO) elements, but Bungie has avoided defining Destiny as a traditional MMO game. Instead, the game has been referred to as a "shared-world shooter," as it lacks many of the characteristics of a traditional MMO game. For instance, rather than players being able to see and interact with all other players in the game or on a particular server—as is the case in many conventional MMO games—Destiny will include on-the-fly matchmaking that will allow players to see and interact only with other players with whom they are "matched" by the game. Destiny will incorporate a new game engine that allows global illuminations and real-time dynamic lighting to occur together. An innovation in Bungie's "hopper" technology, which has been the backbone for Halo's matchmaking system, will allow better player matchmaking in order to create a more natural experience in either cooperative or competitive multiplayer modes.

Phantom Brave: The Hermuda Triangle
Phantom Brave: The Hermuda TrianglePhantom Brave is a strategy RPG which takes place in the world of Ivoire. Ivoire consists of vast seas and numerous islands; it used to be a peaceful place, but an ancient (and powerful) force is now threatening life in the various lands. The character you control in the game is Marona, a 13 year old orphaned girl. Marona has the ability to communicate with phantoms, an ability that brings a lot of resentment from other people but will help her to head out into the world and solve the problems that are occurring. A phantom known as Ash acts as Marona's guardian; as the game progresses, other phantoms will join your party, each of which have different capabilities. The game features a turn based combat system. During battles, Marona is able to attack enemies by herself, and she can also summon phantoms in her party to help out. To summon phantoms, you will need to confine them to an object on the screen (such as a rock or tree). Once confined to an object, you will then be able to control the phantom in battle, though phantoms only remain controllable for a limited number of turns. The object you confine a phantom to will affect it's abilities; for example, a rock may make a phantom stronger but move slower. By defeating enemies in battle you earn experience points allowing to level up and become more powerful.
