I just love this games hacking mechanics, which turned the game from a GTA to something more. The story was good too, even if they didn't Aiden's story in the new games.
A game with such a bad reputation that I got it for 5€ used at gamestop a year or two after it's release. A bargain at that price. It's no GTA, no where near immersive enough. Plays more like a modern Ghost Recon in Chicago (it's got outpost like things to takedown), with a hacker aesthetic.
I liked the hacking powers even if they were a bit underwhelming in comparison to how they "felt" in the trailer.
What stuck with me most was the portrait of the human trafficking industry (i.e. realistic enough to make you feel adequately cringy) and the way the story ends in a "not black&white" way.
