Story:X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse is an action role-playing game and a sequel to X-Men Legends. The player controls a party of four characters, though only one at a time can be controlled directly. Besides switching the characters for combat purposes, the player is often obliged to do so, because some of the tasks in the game require the specific abilities of a certain mutant. For example, Iceman can put out the fire, Magneto can generate a metal bridge across a gap, etc. Most of the time, however, is spent in combat, collecting loot and acquiring experience points. Unlike the first game, items dropped by enemies are random. The character will level up, become stronger, and learn new skills. It was one of my favorite games growing up. I didn't even know much English, but I grew up watching the X-Men cartoons—both the classic '90s series and Wolverine and the X-Men. I loved how it mixed hack-and-slash gameplay with RPG mechanics. It was also the first game I had on the Xbox, which my mother and aunt bought for me. I remember playing co-op with my neighbor friend. I heard there's modding now, and I would love to buy and play this game on GOG.
I would trade all of my other votes to upvote this so much higher on the list. Ive hunted down old hardware and discs to play this over and over again. As a 90s kid the X-Men have always been my favorite corner of the Marvel Universe and this game got so much right. The game can be a bit janky at times for sure but everything else makes up for it. There are so many sweet mods too. I cant tell you how much i want to praise this game and demand another one. I could bore you and easily take up all 2000 characters, upvote this game or i just might!
Licensing hell makes this one almost impossible to bring back but so much great memories with this title. It's one of the greats and had everything a Marvel fan could have asked for in a X-Men game. Great story, great villains, a tremendous roster of playable characters, light RPG mechanics, great voice acting, bunch of extras, tons of costumes for the heroes. It's a shame how lost this game is. Introduced me to Deadpool as he was one of the playable characters and pretty much the sole reason I got into comic books. All around wonderful stuff.
Fable IIFable 2 is the second game in the fable series by Lionhead Studios, it is an open world role-playing game. It has a simple story line where the hero needs to save Albion from the evil Lord Lucian by collecting together the other three heroes to defeat him. Interactive cut-scenes are a large part of the game however the main character never speaks and all dialogue is uncontrolled.
The game features a large variety of game play and freedom, allowing a player to shape the world around and the characters appearance and moral standing based on decisions throughout the game. The player can also get married both same and opposite sex and bring up children to childhood but no farther, expressions are a lot more interactive with NPC's than beforeTrending Open world Action Fantasy

The game is set on a paradisal island where teddy bears live in harmony. The main character, Naughty Bear, is a shabby teddy bear who has a tendency to be mischievous, which earns him the dislike of the other bears. Like the other teddy bears, he does not speak but instead conveys his emotions through a variety of sounds and facial expressions. His actions are influenced by an unseen narrator with a demeanor reminiscent of that of a young children's television show host.Action Comedy
Brave DwarvesBrave Dwarves is a fantasy platform game where you control one of two Dwarves fighting against 'The Great Evil' that has taken over their underground kingdom.
The player has a warrior and a mage character to choose from; there are ordinary weapons for the warrior, and magic weapons (incantations) for the mage.
Both the magical and ordinary weapon types and strength depends on the power stored in four orbs for controlling the four elements of Fire, Water, Air and Earth.
The orbs are found laying around on the map, and at the beginning, you only have a single weapon & attack type - for the Warrior its a plain melee attack with his axe - but the orbs & diamonds you find lets you use other attack types: the axe can also throw flaming fire, or homing missiles for example. The mage starts out with a wand that can do a water attack. No damage shows any blood, only smokepuffs.
The orbs power source is taken from colored diamonds found in the caves: Green for Earth, Red for Fire, Blue for Water and White for Air.
There are also some diamonds with combined orb energy effects: Light Blue for Air & Water and Purple for Fire & Earth.
The underground Kingdom is divided into 50 platform levels, to finish a level three larger Key-diamonds must be found; one each of Green, Red and White color - these will open the door to the next level. In the unregistered version, only five levels are available, and there are some other limitations - the demo has no bosses for instance.
In the caves are monsters (of course) but also treasure laying around, which is gathered by walking over them, and added to the player score. Touching a monster loses health. Beakers with blue liquid and large red hearts restore health
A highscore list is available in the registered version, as are passwords & savegames letting a player continue from the last saved location.Fantasy
