ok so i have baldur's gate installed and i tried to run it in windowed mode except i can't and i get this error that says "Windows must be running in High color or True color mode in order to run baldur's gate in a window

High color is 16 bit - true color was originally 24 bit - set your desktop to 16 bit and windowed mode should work.

Kezardin: High color is 16 bit - true color was originally 24 bit - set your desktop to 16 bit and windowed mode should work.
i got it to work finally thanks


EDIT: well, i got it to work for that 1 instance it's going back to this same problem again\
REDIT:i finally got the problem, the desktop was set to 8 bit color code when i tried to run the game so i just had to set it to 16 bit while it was running the game
