As soon as patch 2.01 installed through GOG Galaxy I get a error

"Cyberpunk 2077 encountered an error caused by a corrupt or missing scripts file and will now be forced to close"

I have verified all my files twice, and still won't open.
Was working perfectly prior to the update...

Same as mine. I had no idea what was happening.

Same for me. Installation failed three times now.
I removed GOG Galaxy and all traces of it, reinstalled GOG and it still didn't work.
Offline Installer might be an option but I think they just messed up the patch.
Same here, hope it has nothing to do with the mods.
Having the same exact issue after downloading patch 2.01.
This is total disaster. Completely ruined my gaming experience of cyberpunk once again. I really just want to get my money back.
Reinstalling GOG galaxy a second time made it work...

I had tried just uninstalling the game along with all local data. That reinstall ended in at first being told the install was corrupt. Which it eventually scanned downloaded another 20GB and gave me the same error I had to begin with.

Then as per your post I uninstalled everything again as well as GOG Galaxy. Reinstalled Galaxy and then the game and could get into the game.
Yep.

"Cyberpunk 2077 encountered an error caused by a corrupt or missing scripts file and will now be forced to close"

Sitting at my desk laughing because I put off this game for so long to avoid exactly this happening and here I am after setting aside time to play, unable to even open the damn game lmao
After the update, the game also gave me error, but I assumed that it was because of the mods.

First I checked if some of the mandatory mods had an update and only Cyber Engine Tweaks came out with an update for 2.01. However, that didn't help either. Considering that in addition to those mandatory mods, I had 6-7 other mods (mainly clothing stores, HD reskin characters, etc.) I assumed that one of those mods was causing the problem.

I deleted the game and reinstalled it and the game worked. All the positions for both characters I play with were loaded without any problems, even though both characters used clothes, shoes, etc. from the mods, only those things were reset to the basic ones from the game.

I recorded new, fresh positions with both characters and this time installed only the mandatory mods (ArchiveXL, Codeware, Cyber Engine Tweaks, RED4ext, redscript, TweakXL etc) and again I got the same error as the first time.

Conclusion... at least for me, mods are problematic, those mandatory mods without which the others can't work.

UPDATE:
When you want to reinstall the game, for some reason GOG installs it and then shows an error (I guess it can't install update 2.01).

Turn off GOG and log in again. GOG will show that it has not installed the game (even though the game is physically on the disc and you can even launch it via the Launch Cyberpunk 2077 file), but after a few moments GOG will scan the installed files and perform an update, and from that moment you can also launch the game via GOG - a.

Once again, IF YOU HAVE mods, something is not working for now.

All those mods work for me. I don't think they are the issue.
