mousing over fables22 gives " Sorry, data for given user is currently unavailable. Please, try again later. " is fables22 still working for gog or has the bacon turned to the dark side?

timmy010: is fables22 still working for gog
From what I recall, no.

fables22: Hey everyone,

As already hinted on the forum, we've updated our forum rules - see the updated version here: https://support.gog.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001814049-Forum-Code-of-Conduct.

Please take the time to read the rules and familiarize yourselves with them before posting on the forum. For the majority of you, I believe nothing will change in terms of what and how you post, however, I'm very much hoping to see a positive change in the overall environment of the forum. Some of you might have to be a bit harder on themselves to get used to the new Code of Conduct, but I'm sure you can all do it!

Also note that, while I welcome constructive feedback, the rules are currently not subject to change. I'd like to give it a couple months to see if/how they work, before considering any major changes and updates.

Thanks everyone for your co-operation!

EDIT: Just to clarify as it's come up a few times - support tickets are not to be used as reports. If you wish to alert me to something you suspect breaks forum rules (this excludes past offences), do so via PMs to me directly.

EDIT2: If you have any questions, before asking me directly, please read through this thread: https://www.gog.com/forum/general/rules_threads_all_that_jazz.
I looked over some of the rules and while some are clear and plane such as not posting pornography others are more open to interpretation. I think the addition of extra forums features would be more useful. We already have a ratting system and the ability to ignore. Maybe more things like that. I really don't think the "going off topic one" is good because people go off topic all the time and I've been accused of going off topic when I thought I was right on topic.
It's looking good. I don't think anyone will have any problem with these rules but I am new and I can be wrong.

Magmarock: the ability to ignore.
We do?

There's a thread here somewhere complaining about not having this feature which boiled down to a " F Me? NO, F U!" type but I can't find it right off. Please pretend I've linked to it. Google is once again thinking I'm a bot because I scan results quickly, throwing up the reCaptcha and it's not working for me today.

I usually only go off topic once an answer has been given or when the original question is vague enough none of us can answer and we're stuck with making guesses.

So I'm making pot roast tonight......

edit: Having said that about the ignore, I would love that feature. I worked out something to cover up the posts of folks who are only here to disturb folks but it got broke awhile back and I'm a bit lazy to fix it.

So maybe this thread (and its linked pages) could be erased now ?

Although keeping the website uptodate is not high on gog's priority lists in general.

This thread still exist?

why? :P
So... how many death threats do you get to make before you get banned?

Asking for a friend BTW.
So, what happened to the Tommy Robinson threads? Did elcook (or another soon-to-be-announced CM) decide that enough is enough and went about in the usual way to delete discussions altogether instead of punishing individual posters for their infractions?

Or did some brave and valiant backseat moderator who couldn't handle all the free speech determine that the proper course of action would be to create alts in order to spamdelete these threads? That would seem the most likely possibility, considering how gogmods usually just lock threads rather than nuking them - unless of course they determined that in this case the content of the posts was such an embarassment to them that they would rather have it wiped from the site altogether. That is a possibility of course.

Or was it deleted by popular demand (ie. actual users hitting the spamdelete button on the OP, rather than alts)?

-1. In other words, even if you've never made a death threat, you've still made too many death threats.
