I think I get the picture now. That's too bad about the state of things. I think the murderous penguin put it fairly well, based on what I've seen in this thread. I personally haven't seen too much of this since I tend to stay away from the more controversial threads, or topics that otherwise seem like people would have strong and divisive opinions over. Or even threads that feel like they might encourage spiteful behavior of any kind.
I've seen quite a few threads encouraging people just to share how their day was, or say something nice to one another, or just play fun word games, or discuss gaming in general. And lots of times (not always, but mostly) when I post questions or solicit advice, the community has been very kind and helpful with assistance.
So while my experience has been different than snowkatt's or others' in this thread, I respect her or anyone else's decision to leave if they no longer are having a good time here. Though it is a little sad, and I wish they didn't feel like they had to go.
