Well, time will tell if you change your mind or not. Contrary to forums-only websites, GOG is also a store with some "exclusivity" (DRM-free) so you're always bound to come back to buy stuff and it can be hard to resist clicking on the "community" tab just to take a peek on how things are going on ;)

I share your sentiment about the state of forum. That's why my activity here is only a fraction of what it used to be.

If something doesn't feel like fun anymore, it is a good idea to stop doing it. Unless someone pays for it of course, that's called work. It is not supposed to be fun, otherwise you'd do it for free.

Have fun! Maybe try again sometime next year. I'll probably take another break too hoping the 20th (?) "community manager" will do/achieve something in the next months although since one of the main problems is the software, I guess other people would have to be involved.

As a general remark (not adressed to you specifically), I'm always surprised at the general doom&gloom when there are some crisis on the forum. Out of the 30 threads currently displayed on my first page, 3 are about the forum, 2 are "controversial" and the 25 others are related to gaming and fluffy stuff like it has always been for years., so you have 25 (and more on other pages) possibilities to contribute at making GOG a good place if you really want it to be ;)
