Carr0t: Figured I'd try the new 1.2 beta as I wanted to make sure I didn't lose the 80 hours I've sunk into The Witcher 3 and I thought it'd be one of the first games GoG built support for.
The client keeps telling me 'Cloud Saves synced', but if I ask it to download a backup of them it gives me an empty folder. Likewise if I move my Witcher 3 saves folder temporarily the game acts like I'm loading it for the first time and lists no saves for me to continue from.
Is there any way for me to force the client to sync the saves I already have from playing The Witcher 3 some months ago? I've tried loading a 'fresh' install, then copying all my save files into the save directory while the game is running and updating all the file timestamps to 'now', but the client still synced nothing when I exited the game.
Please post a mantis issue about that. :) This sounds like a bug, or something weird is going on. Here are the instructions: https://www.gog.com/forum/general/gog_galaxy_beta_2/post1
Please also tell us how big your save folder is, and the exact steps you took, if possible. :)
Answer to the question is: Yes, you should be able to sync your old saves.
