Pheace: Removed it? Was it ever in?

I personally mostly use Steam game subforums, particularly for issues. Sometimes Reddit can be a good place for solving issues as well. I do use other gaming forums like ResetEra/Somethingawful but that's more for talking about the game than actual problem solving in most cases mostly because they're just long single threads.

firstpastthepost: Yup. There used to be forum links right on the game pages but they got removed in previous site updates. It’s aleayd nice when the updates remove features and replace them with nothing.
There's been no such feature since I've been shopping/hanging out here, and I don't remember having heard any of the "old-timers" mention this feature having once existed.
Are you sure you aren't using a userscript (e.g., Barefoot Essentials or Adalia Fundamentals) that adds/added these links to the store pages? Because userscripts' enhancements to the user's version of the website (ANY website) are often broken by changes to the actual site -- and I would imagine last month's site revamp therefore caused a lot of extra work for adalia and Barefoot to get all their respective scripts' features working again.
Afaik only in dev games had, and still have a forum link in the store game card page.
Dont remember a link being applied to all games, altough i wonder why gog didnt use that aproach and in dev games first showed up.
I prefer the game specific furums, actually, and I wish they were more active.

It would be nice if I could discuss games like Timespinner on the appropriate subforum, but there appears to be no one there.
I visited another forum once, but the main forum found out about it, and all hell broke loose!

I kept telling the main forum that the other forum and I were just friends, but the main forum wasn't hearing it.

I spent that whole week sleeping on the couch.

CymTyr: EDIT: Alright going to clarify and hopefully not sound like an asshole.

I rove the forums rather often. It's how you get a rep like mine.
I do, for:

- patch notes
- how do I fix this problem?
- mods?
- new purchase, and I could use some spoiler-free tips
- stuck in the game and I'm probably missing the obvious. Help!
- thinking about purchasing, and could use some info beyond the reviews
My actual on topic answer would be: tech support. And so far it's been amazingly successful, even in half-dead forums.

A HUGE BIG THANKS to all the people posting troubleshooting tips and solutions, often in the form of "I encountered this problem and solved it like this".

YOU'RE THE BEST

chandra: To clarify, it's always possible to go directly to the game's designated subforum from the Galacy Client and your GOG.com library. Once you purchase a game, you can click on More -> Forum and it will redirect you there :)
That aside, thanks for your feedback, I will forward it further.
I think most of us are aware of the game fora links in our libraries, but what about a game we haven't purchased (yet)?
It's puzzling that game fora aren't linked on game pages, seems like that most straightforward way to get there when one's checking out a game.

What toxicTom said has been discussed and suggested for years now, but it'd seem that GOG's not interested in increasing the visibility of game fora.

You're correct, there never was such a feature, it's Barefoot Essentials that added a link on each game page.
