Curious because I was thinking about waiting for the Winter Sale before I do any real splurging. Thanks.

I expect it to be 2000+ too. A hundred here or there. I also expect some of the prices we are seeing now not to show up then.

In the past I kinda remember it usually being somewhat fewer titles, but this time, this is a ton of titles. I can't imagine Winter Sale will have more. Also, a ton of All-Time New GoG Low Prices. I wouldn't could on those necessarily repeating in the Winter Sale.

Dunno about more titles -- or about deeper discounts, for that matter -- but it will certainly be longer than this sale. : )

Meant to ask something similar. Does winter sale have generally better discounts?

There should be at least as many if not more games on sale. Prices may not be the same as some right now that seem to be at an all-time low but I expect the difference to be only a few dollars (e.g. a game right now for $7.50 might be $10).

The most significant difference will likely be the bonus games you get during the winter sale for spending 'x' amount etc.

If you're looking at something in the Black Friday 90% Discount Sale you might want to get it now. It might be on sale again during the winter sale but the discount isn't going to be better than it is right now. The Jazz Jackrabbit games for example have never been this cheap before.

Don't have much more to add than what others have said, except that they probably will give away 1 game during the first 48 hours.


I don't recall them doing any Flash deals during a Winter Sale, but if they do, you may get lucky on games from your list those first few days before they go to a lower discount. Hopefully it's the 24-hour flash deals kind, like the most recent ones (excluding the Black Friday one) so you have time to think about the deal.

Just as a precaution, I'd suggest getting your priority games now (if you have any and if the discounts are good enough for you) in case one or more of those games aren't on sale during the Winter Sale.
