Hey all! Unfortunately, the update will come at a later date. The silver lining here is that it may contain additional bug fixes. Our apologies for that inconvenience.

renegade042: My guess is it'll arrive right after they make Starfield good ;)
Or when Todd releases Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition to make us buy Fallout 4 again :)

When it comes to this:
I always blame Bethesda

Bethesda Would Suckle The Taint Of Our Local Goats No Doubt. But I Still Want To Try Fallout London In Future.
But, any News from GOG or Bethesda would be nice,
this is not the fine way to handle with the Customer!
Thinking about it, it would be nice if Bethesda would publicly provide a changelog of the bugs currently fixed so far for this upcoming update. And keep updating that changelog every month with an addition list of fixes until they finally release the update.

You're saying that like they're still actively fixing things. Have I got a bridge to sell you! Either way, at this point I'd rather GOG just keep the version they have. I don't have much trust in Bugthesda.
Anyone remember Duke Nukem Forever?
Has anyone found a way to move the new quests/content of F4: GOTY Next-Gen right over to the F4: GOTY Old-Gen version?

That was a fun game!
Any news?

MK_exe: Any news?
My completely uninformed guess...?

Bethesda Middle Management: "Hey. What's with the reports of horrible performance degradation with any type of mod that edits NPCs?"

Speaker of the Devs: "Oh, yeah, if you read our notes from next-gen update pre-alpha testing, [pulls up notes on phone] and I quote, it be that way sometimes."

Bethesda Middle Management: "This is completely unacceptable! Who approved this?!"

Speaker of the Devs: [shows phone to BMM who visibly winces]

BMM: "Can it be fixed?"

SotD: [leaning back in his chair, doing his best to hold back a wry smile] "Engine performance / optimization was Steve's baby."

BMM: Steve?! But he was let go 3 years ago!!

SotD: "Well, he did leave this." [SotD blows the dust off the top of a can and hands it to BMM]

BMM: "What's this? Lumbricus terrestr... something"

As the can is opened (via its convenient pull-tab top) a collective gasp is released from every current and former Bethesda dev, no matter their location.

BMM: [scrunching up his nose as he looks in the can with utter disgust] “I have no idea what this is. Just...just fix it!”

BMM tosses the can on SotD’s desk and stomps off. SotD gives a faint sigh of indignation as he falls back in his chair, defeated. Suddenly, his code begins to rapidly disappear off the top of his screen as one of the little guys reaches the edge of his keyboard.

To be continued...
Is this still a thing? waiting for a next gen update?

Yes, waiting is still a thing....
Getting...right after Bethesda gets their studio sorted out...
Hey guys! Just letting you know that there are no plans to not have the next-gen update, but we'll waiting for Bethesda. Right now we can't do much more here on our own.

Don't worry about it, we've been blaming Bethesda for everything...including climate change.
You do have issues with announcements though.
Remember when everyone complained about how GoG keeps saying "Coming Soon"
on things that are released 10 years later...so this time you changed that...you gave us an
actual date...not an improvement ;)
