Why not?? Even steam offers that shit
You've posted this message in the general discussion section, so not knowing what game you're referring to, it's impossible to offer any help.

First off, when making a thread like this the name of the game(in the title and first post) would help.

Second, do you mean transferring saves from old non-gog copies to your gog copy? Gog doesn't do that, but IF you have the save files/config files from the old install you might be able to copy them into the new install's folder.

Third, not to nag, but a bit less swearing might warm more up to you and make more people want to help you out....swearing as much usually makes some averse to replying to such(this, again, is not to nag on you......but to offer helpful advice).

If you could provide more info maybe someone here can help...thanks in advance, and welcome to the forums. :)

If it's his most recently played game (Warcraft) I wonder why he apparently waited 18+ hours in to complain about it(it might be another game, but I don't see anything more recent on his list).

FCK, I didn’t save files myself and now I have lost it, what an idiot!!

Take it as a learning example, always make sure YOU save files and necessary information, keep it backed up offline, so YOU are always in control of it, and don’t rely on third parties or the internet to do it for you. This goes for anything computer related. If YOU don’t do it, only YOU will lose it.
GOG uninstall normally asks weither or not you want to keep old saves so not sure how this could have happened without your consent. Of course not knowing what game, what OS, did a proper uninstall or not leaves most to just speculate.
