Galaxy has been publicly available now for 2 years and there are still a multitude of games that have still not had their installers trivially updated to contain the Galaxy integration files. As such when you install these games via the standalone installers they do not show up in Galaxy automatically. Some of them do not even import into Galaxy when you choose to import them manually. The purpose of this thread is to track all of the games which GOG has still not yet added Galaxy support to, as well as the games that it refuses to import manually.
To test whether a game installer has proper Galaxy integration support, folllow these steps:
1) Make sure that your local backup is the absolute latest version of the game, or download the latest one.
2) If there are patches available that are a newer version, download them too.
3) Exit Galaxy completely if it is running or it can interfere with manual game installation and patching.
4) Install the game manually via the standalone installer.
5) If there are patches, install them manually as well.
6) Optionally install any DLC and DLC patches if available and desired.
7) Wait until all installers are completed and exit them
8) Start Galaxy client
9) If the installed game did not show up in Galaxy, click on the GOG logo at the top and choose "Scan and import folders" and point it to the directory where all of your GOG games get installed to by default.
If the game is not detected at this point, then the installer does not have support for Galaxy integration. Please indicate the full name of the game preferably copy and pasted in mixed-case form the game's store page.
10) If the game scan does not detect the game you just installed:
----- Find the game in your game library shelf in Galaxy and click on it.
----- Click on the [More] button and go to "Manage Installation..." and then "Import folder...".
----- Choose the folder where the game was installed into.
If the game still does not show up in Galaxy after all of this or you get an error about being unable to find a game where you know it is installed, then add a comment indicating that the game will not import into Galaxy at all either. This indicates that something is very broken.
