It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

-El_Greeko-: Where are the logs located?
Where can I find Galaxy logs on my computer?
On Windows Vista or later: C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\Logs
On Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\GOG.com\Galaxy\Logs
On Mac OS X: /Users/Shared/GOG.com/Galaxy/Logs
This looks like something is blocking your access to gog.com subdomains, as Galaxy can't fetch any data from our servers.

Randalator: That wouldn't explain, though, why he was unable to simply download the installers from gog.com in the browser but is able to do so with the Downloader.
It looks exactly like a firewall issue, just like Venom mentioned. The GOG Downloader could have been whitelisted by the firewall. I would recommend turning off antivirus or firewall software for a minute and trying the GOG Galaxy once more or try adding it to their whitelists.

-El_Greeko-: I turned the firewall off but it still didn't work. But the "Galaxy Updater Application" actually popped up before the Client launched and downloaded 50+MBs. Something that it didn't do before.
Can you reach this address through your browser? https://cfg.gog.com:443/desktop-galaxy-client/config.json

The log says that the GOG Galaxy cannot connect to this URL.

-El_Greeko-: I did a clean Windows install (I formatted my PC) yesterday and GOG Galaxy worked yesterday and today. Now it just stopped working for some reason. AGAIN.
Is the issue the same? Have you installed anything in the mean time thay may have caused it to stop working? Please create an issue on Mantis, thank you!

-El_Greeko-: EDIT: It's working right now. :S I don't know why.
Please attach all the logs to the issue you've created, we will investigate them. Thanks!

thefriarfook: hi im completely new just ordered a game and its paid for then came to gog and downloaded the engine(gog galaxy) ....cant log ontoit. it tells me "user not found". i have no other options to proceed....frustrating . any help?
Can you please try to login to GOG using gog.com website in another browser (or in your current browser incognito / private mode)? The Client only embeds the very same login that the web page is displaying so theoretically it should not be possible to login on the website but not login in the Client.

If you will continue encounter this issue, either on the website or in the Client, please do contact our support - they will be able to assist and sort it out (for obvious reasons I can't discuss and troubleshot your account / login information on the forum :).
