I´m trying to reach a certain GOG employee per PM, but I don´t get a reply. How can I tell whether the employee doesn´t want to talk to me and simply ignores me or just can´t see my PMs because of privacy settings? I mean, a simple "f*ck off" or "mind your own business" would be sufficient for me to stop addressing him/her.
I know, I could approach him/her in one of the threads, but I don´t want to appear intrusive. I already feel like a stalker by sending PMs repeatedly.
What does the internet etiquette say in such a case?
I thought this was a thread about music...
It´s not.

Not make an intrusive thread about it. Especially one that seems romantic, 'cause this context really does make it sound like you'e hitting on the gog staff.

Btw, you could try here, too.

But, really, just leave Luci--Chandra alone, already.

Either contact support with the request to forward your message to their colleague. Or look for a thread where (s)he posted and reply to his post with the message: "Hey, I sent you a PM. Did you receive it?"

Sorry, that´s my German charm. Everything we say is to be taken literally. No romanticism here :)

Well, i'm not going to lie: i'm still fairly convinced by the fact that you're afraid of being seen as a stalker. If they're not willing to respond in private whatever relationship you had, might just be over. Not everyone is inclined to tell you directly. Give it a few days, maybe a week or two, then let it go. That's what we all do, especially when it comes to the Japanese, 'cause they tend to just poof when they're upset with you.
If someone doesn't reply within a week it probably means they don't want to talk to you. Sounds harsh, but if they are an active member and posting away on the forums etc then it's probably safe to assume that they have read your message and decided not to respond.

Male... Female... Either way... If someone's not responding then they don't want to talk.

Sorry Dude

If you can PM them, they can see it. If Privacy settings intervened, you'd be told you cannot PM this user due to privacy settings.

I was trying to be generous.... :D

Plus if someone hasn't been online then I guess that could account for a non-response but I get your point.

^ Look, a blue! :P
Who wants to, they're in last place!

WTF were all those off season moves for!?

The team is a joke.

If I were you I'd become a Maple Leaf fan. Now there is a Juggernaut in the making!
