We’re thrilled to announce the GOG Dreamlist!

This updated and improved version of the well-known Community Wishlist allows you to vote for the games you’d like to see on GOG. Your votes help us, our partners, and the rights holders understand which titles matter most to you.

Whether it’s a beloved game from your childhood or a title you’ve always wanted DRM-free, your votes guide our efforts to bring them to our platform—giving them a forever home in your library.

With the GOG Dreamlist, we’ve focused on improving the interface, consolidating threads for specific games, and providing more ways to discover and vote for new titles.

Each game on Dreamlist now has its own game card, featuring a detailed description, screenshots, and trailers. As passionate gamers ourselves, we know that every game carries a unique story. That’s why we’ve added a Stories section to the game cards, where you can share your memories, making your vote a powerful message of why these games matter.

We’ve also introduced enhanced browsing and filtering options, making it easier to find the next game you want to vote for and help bring to GOG.

As always, we welcome your feedback. We’re confident that GOG Dreamlist provides a better, more scalable tool to support further development and help us bring even more amazing games to our community.

With all that said we invite and ask you to explore the Dreamlist, cast your votes, and share your memories!
Hey all! We’ve been hard at work to make your GOG Dreamlist experience smoother, more intuitive, and simply more fun. We thought it'd be good to sum up the most important things that we've improved over the past few weeks.

Enhanced navigation

- Improved responsive pagination with automatic scroll-to-top when switching pages—saving you time.

- You can now search directly from a game card—less clicking, more voting!

Stay informed

- Real-time notifications when someone likes your story, or a new story is added to a game you follow. (We’re also working on a notification for when a game you voted for launches on the GOG store, which should come in handy soon)

- Stories now fully support special characters, and you can track upvotes on your own stories.

- View your stats section to see how many votes you’ve cast, games you’ve added, and to learn more about your activity.

- Check out other gamers’ profiles by clicking on their usernames to see who’s behind the stories and entries.

Streamlined filtering & sorting

- Active filters are now displayed as pills for better visibility.

- New quick-filter options and sorting by title or relevancy give your game catalog a fresh twist every visit.

- Easily filter games with or without user stories—and reset your selections in one click.

Discover your next favorite game

- The “I’m Feeling Lucky” button is available in both the hero section and on game cards—to jump into a random Dreamlist game instantly.

The work is, of course, not done yet, and we'll be adding new features and improvements.

Hey, I noticed in the auto-fill feature a game that had the right information (creators, year), but the wrong image, was popping up when I tried to enter a specific game to add for votes for the dream list. When I clicked on it, it brought me to a game with the same name that's coming out on GOG this year. Basically: Captain Blood from 1988 is not the same as the current one, but when you click on the link for 1988 Captain Blood it takes you to the new one :)
Wow, I also voted for some games. I would like to see games like Prince of Persia Forgotten Sand, C&C: Renegade and Dune 2000, Prey (2006), Halo: Combate Evolved and Halo 2 here.

I'm a bit mixed, because I like the new look, but things are so big indeed :P
Maybe it would be nice to eventually be able to choose a different display mode, more "compact", and eventually the possibility to have more games in one page.

I would have one small UI suggestion : like when we are browsing the list of games in the store, add the number of the current page and the possibility to go to next/previous/number of page on top of the wishlist in addition to the bottom of the wishlist. Right now, if you scroll from down to top, you have to scroll again downward to be able to change the page. It's noticeable especially because it seems that for now, when you click on another page with the arrows or number of pages at bottom, you stay down on the page and have to scroll upward to see wishes (not an issue if there was the changing page buttons on top).

Adding a game in the wishlist is very clear & easy for the game I just added, this is nice !

I found several games I voted for that have since been released here (it could be handy to have a way to report these cases)

If you see this, help bring back one of my all-times faves back !! ;D

Inicus: This is great to see.

Just one piece of feedback: I think you might want to have a separate "remove vote" button that is not the same as the "Add vote" button.

What happened with me (and I'm guessing probably other people as well) was I saw this, clicked through to the Dreamlist, and immediately started clicking the vote button on the games that I felt most strongly about. It was only on the third page of games that I noticed when I clicked on one, the number of votes went DOWN by one. It was then I realised it has already taken all my votes from the community wishlist (which is fair enough and sensible), and that with each click of the vote button for all my most beloved games, I was actually UN-voting them. So then I went back through the first three pages and made sure I added my votes back in to those games I wanted.

I just thought I should mention this problem as, if it happened with me, then chances are good that also happens with some other people, which would give you the false impression that some people are not interested in games that they actually are interested in.
There will be some people who do not realise the error, or if they do, they do not fully correct the error after making some mistakes.

That is why I suggest a separate "remove vote" button. Or perhaps a confirmed dialog box, "Are you sure you want to remove your vote?" Just something to prevent this kind of user error.
Or you could just filter for showing "Only games I haven't voted for"
It looks like many games lost their total votes.

Voted for Z.A.R. of course.

Please GOG, yell at Nightdive to give us the games they have on Steam only already.

They keep saying how important GOG is to them with every release here, but obviously not that important...

bluethief: My votes went to:

- The Operative: No One Lives Forever
- No One Lives Forever 2: A Spy in H.A.R.M.'s Way
- Contract J.A.C.K.
- Aliens versus Predator 2
- American McGee's Alice
- Prince of Persia 3D
- Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy

Decided to vote (for now) on games that aren't available to buy officially anywhere.
A technical note:
American McGee's Alice is playable through Alice: Madness Returns, which is on Steam.

Yes, but if you buy the game right now on Steam it doesn't come with the first Alice on the package. You have to download the game for it to be available from within Madness Returns.

If I'm not mistaken, the only way the game is available right away is if one bought the special edition back when it released.
I love this endeavor! Hope it helps bring some old classics to the land of GOG. :)

Added an entry for "The Last Dynasty" that I saw was missing from the original community wishlist. Link below if y'all would like to add your votes to it.

Only technically, The Steam version doesn't come with the game but they have a modding guide to show how to get it running which requires certain things I won't mention as it may breach terms of service.

Oh, I see. I just saw it in the menu and assumed it works, but apparently not.

That makes my recent acquisition of a covermount magazine DVD with the game that much more valuable :)

first you announce the preservation project, which is what you've been doing and known for since day 1 anyway, and now the 'dreamlist', which has been on the site for many years as well, except now it's on the front page with a bunch of other fluff to make finding anything extra difficult, and you fucked up the number of votes as a bonus. there are also a bunch of duplicates and titles that are already on gog, yet not marked as such, plus only putting 10 games on a page is horrible.

your marketing team sure knows how to make a seemingly big deal out of literally nothing, that's their job sadly, while your web team continues to be as incompetent as it gets, which shouldn't be in their job description.

GOG Dreamlist is a great feature that makes the whole process easier and more transparent. However, it completely lacks a platform selection option. GOG very often adds only Windows versions, even when games have Mac and Linux versions available on Steam.
Why in unreleased game list is Doom 3? https://www.gog.com/dreamlist/game/doom-3

In shop we have Doom 3 https://www.gog.com/en/game/doom_3

Isn't this Heretic from unreleased game list https://www.gog.com/dreamlist/game/heretic the same as Heretic we have already in shop? https://www.gog.com/en/game/heretic_shadow_of_the_serpent_riders

Doom 2016 is duplicated https://www.gog.com/dreamlist/game/doom-2017 https://www.gog.com/dreamlist/game/doom please fuse this.
